Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lights the room up nicely When I first saw these I was worried they would be too big. They were taller than my old incandescent flame shaped bulbs but they fit in the space perfectly. I made some pictures to show the difference between the Soft White Bulb LED and the Daylight LED versus regular incandescent bulbs. I loved the light from both of them. The soft white was just like the light from the incandescent bulb to which I was accustomed. The Daylight lit the space up even more. Great light, long lasting and saves energy. Win-win. I posted pictures so you can see for yourself.

It is pretty, can't tell it is LED when it is on, VERY bright! I usually buy the 6500K because I like the pure white daylight light instead of yellow light, but this one is as bright as the 6500K that I bought previously. This is also the ONLY Candelabra bulb that LOOKS like a Candelabra bulb. In the past, I could only find the spiral bulbs that were the cost saving ones. Usually they only have the regular incandescent light bulbs that use more energy and are not as bright. This is definitely WORTH purchasing if you 1) want a bulb that looks like a Candelabra bulb 2) if you want to save cost on electricity 3) you want a nice bright light. you can see the difference it even makes on the glass frame! see my picture.

I had to purchase an adapter since this particular bulb does not come in medium base. I liked the fact that the 60W equivalent daylight bulb was so bright and that it is dimmable. However, had to return one adapter and bulb as it did not work. I will be returning the others also, since the bulb turns off after being on for a while, then it'll turn back on. Hard to determine whether its the light bulb or the adapter that's the problem

However, be aware that it IS a daylight looking light. You cannot look directly at the bulb as it hurts your eyes. So if you light shines upward, it works well. Or if the bulb is hidden by a shade, it works well. If the bulb is exposed or you may look directly at it, you may want to rethink Daylight.

Got 6 of these and a Leviton SureSlide 600-Watt Single-Pole/3-Way Incandescent-CFL-LED Slide Dimmer. These lights are bright but not blinding. No heat makes for a comfortable room.
