I bought this tree two years ago and this year, 2014 will be my third year using it. I shopped around a long time before purchasing because I am VERY picky, almost as bad as picking out a real tree!!! It was hard trying to find a tree with colored lights but I kept going back to Home Depot and looking at this tree until I finally bought it. I really wish it was a fuller tree, you can see through the branches but for the value, it worked. I am also used to having more lights on the tree but it looks pretty good for the money and I like not having to put the lights on it. My family liked it and I liked having more time with my family. I am happy with it for the most part and i will use it until it can't be used anymore. It's quick & easy to put up, you just have to take the time to spread out all the branches, just like any artificial tree.

First off, I have not given this a 5 out of 5 because we have only owned it a few weeks. If it survives a few years, it def. deserves a 5 star rating!
We ordered this tree online because the one we wanted at our local Home Depot Store was sold out. We thought this tree was the exact one on display at the store, but it turns out it isn't the same exact one. Not an issue, because this one turned out to be way better!
This is a solid sized tree, very bright. I am njot a fan of pre-lit trees, only because when bulbs start going out or get broke when packing/unpacking, it becomes a hassle to find the broken bulbs and replace them, However, this tree if well built, the branches are solid and don't fall off like other models we have had, and it looks very full/realistic when put together.
So far, we are very happy with this item. It seems very well made, and very solid. But again, we have not owned it only a few weeks, It survived the first unboxing so far, and looks great. So that's what we are going off of right now.

This three piece tree went together easily and stands straight. It took about an hour to spread the branches in an attempt to make it look full. In the daytime against an undraped window the empty holes around the thin branches are gapingly apparent. Fully decorated and at night the sparseness of the branches are less apparent, but still noticeable.
All in all we are satisfied with the overall look of the tree. It is not a $1000 tree nor does it pretend to be. There are two styles of branches. The cheaper fillers are "mostly" towards the center of the tree but some do protrude too close to the outside and are obviously fake. The better type look realistic even up close.
But this is the tree we can afford. Next year we will find some type of garland to help fill the holes nearer the trunk.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Linda Surprisingly good artificial tree
I never wanted an artificial christmas tree, but was overruled by my family. I spent an afternoon looking at fake trees at a number of stores and decided on the GE just cut frasier. I ordered it online since the multi-colored lights were not in the store, but since the box is quite big, that was actually better. To my surprise, the tree looks pretty good. The lights are evenly spaced, better than we ever did ourselves. It went up easy, is easy to decorate, and holds all my ornaments. There were enough spaces between the branches that the ornaments dangle nicely, but not so many that it looks bad. I miss my real tree, but for a fake tree, this is as good as I could expect.

We searched for years for a great looking, reasonably priced tree. We purchased this same tree 5 years ago and have loved it. Due to an electrical issue (not related to the tree), we needed a replacement tree and gave no thought to any other model. Very easy to setup and beautiful!

This is our first experience with an artificial tree. Because we have always had colored bulbs we chose the particular tree with colored lights. It took some time setting it up and shaping it but we are pleased with the results. Before we purchased our tree, we visited many stores with artificial trees and Home Depot seemed to have the best quality for the money. We ordered this particular tree as it was not available at the store. We are anxious to see how it stores at the end of the season. We were disappointed that a bag did not come with the tree. Otherwise, we are pretty happy. Thank you for the good service.

We had an artificial tree from Home Depot we bought 6 yrs ago. The lights were beginning to go and I was a little nervous about electrical issues and a fire so we purchased a new one. I bought it off line, using the reviews as a guide. I did not see this tree in person. It is a total disappointment. This tree is more expensive then the old tree, first off. However it is shorter (yet both are supposed to be 7.5), this tree is much thinner and less full. It is totally noticeable. At first I thought I was crazy, then I thought my mother was crazy, but when my girls friend came over and said how small it looked I thought well that does it. The lights are not bright either. This is not a cheap tree. It's going back.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by GMEnglish Fixing dark sections on your GE tree
I have had my GE tree for four years now. that said...
The GE "constant on" feature is suppose to keep the series of lights working if one or two burn out, however; if the white socket light burns out you can't fix it without voiding their warranty. Who cares! I have lived a couple of years with a section out on my tree and now 3 more sections went out. I bought the lightkeeper pro and found that entire sections had no electrical current but the lights worked when I tested them. (The lightkeeper pro definitely works, but was not really needed since it was the white sockets in all of my sections.) So when I pulled the special "non-replaceable" white socket out and replaced the burnt bulb the section works great.
Just take care not to ruin the white socket when you pull it out. I suggest to gently pull on the bulb, the whole thing may come out easily; if not then pull out the bulb anyways, then unplug the tree and use needle nose pliers to remove the white socket doing as little damage as possible to the white socket itself. Replace with a new bulb and your tree's light section should work just like new!
