Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Breezemont works well; like the hose bib attachment feature
Bought it and set up a week ago. Running smoothly. Really like the fact that I could connect my garden hose right to the machine as it has its own hose bib attachment feature. Other models have a cheap plastic tube that you have to push into the machine and which comes loose if you move the garden hose. This one has a hose bib attachment so you can screw on the garden hose just like you do to your outside faucet. No chance for it to come loose.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Craig I purchased my GE 70 pt. Dehumidifier to dehumidify my detached garage in the wintertime. It is still early in the season but so far so good. The unit is easy to operate; it's quiet; the reservoir is easy to empty, and so far the dehumidifier is keeping the humidity down in my detached garage. Seattle has a long, dark, wet winter and so this dehumidifier is going to be put to the test. The purchase process with Home Depot was easy and the product was delivered undamaged at my doorstep when promised.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dan Had this product approx. 3 weeks now and it is running like a charm doing it thing. The only thing I'm not to crazy about is for starters I could care less about seeing the water level from the front because it has a auto shut off when it's full, what would have been nice is a handle in the front panel so you can pull the bucket out before grabbing the handle on the inside to carry to the sink to empty

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JoeHaus Rusted out the inside within 18 monnths - no longer works (fan runs, but doesn't pull out moisture)
I bought this from Home Depot in April, 2014. After having it off all winter long, I powered it up in the Spring of 2016. A few days go by with it running (fan on) and it should be draining through hose. After it doesnt appear to be working, I switch to bucket. After that fails to draw any water out, I unplug the unit, put it on its back and look up inside of it and the entire thing is completely rusted. This was sitting in an otherwise dry basement the entire time. It was never outside, never in any standing water or anything. What a waste of money.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nish Does not work... (Twice)
Started great but after one season stopped pulling out moisture. Replaced after realizing it (out of warranty) and the new unit would not shut off after bucket filled. Perhaps a faulty switch. So returned again. Not falling for it again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Fred I bought this product in April 2015. It ran fine throughout the spring and summer. Unplugged it and did not need use it from about October 2015 through June 2016. Plugged it back in, ran it non-stop and did not generate a single drop in to the bucket. I would not recommend this product to anyone - don't buy it!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by johnmarko Good price but average quality
Replaced a unit that stopped dehumidifying after three years. Difficult to attach drain hose without leaking due to design but works after several tries. Humidity setting and actual reading don't seem to agree with unit shutting off. It appears that the actual humidity has to go below the setting before shutting off.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GJ Thus far this product is working well; however have only had it about a month. Relatively quiet as it operates and it does remove almost a bucket of moisture a day. Hopefully it will last a very long time.
