Needed two 8-foot sections. It was harder to connect the two than expected, but after some extended effort and a duct tape seal, it seems secure.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Arizona New dryer...new duct
Very helpful sales associate recommended new duct when I purchased new dryer. The old duct looked fine on the outside and I did not intend to replace. However, Daniel suggested the inside of the duct was probable clogged and that I should replace it and he was spot on. Thanks Daniel at the Prescott store!

We moved and our old dryer duct was filled with lint... this new duct was just what we needed. it's long so you can cut it if needed and it is very good quality.

Deforms too easily. Clamps shown as included were not.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shinypenny 8 Foot Semi-Rigid Dryer Duct
I needed to replace another rigid dryer duct that was on my dryer because of lint build up when my dryer was taking longer than usual to dry, and I was assuming it wasn't getting adequate air flow out of the vent, which is usually the case. After I removed it, it did have quite a bit of lint build up, so I wanted to replace it for fire prevention and safety reasons.
It's fairly easy to replace. To keep from bending the tube and damaging it, it's best to have someone else stand on the other end and help you stretch it out all the way. I needed the full 8 feet to reach my vent outlet. Shorter sizes are available if needed. I've read that you really shouldn't have excess bends or an overly long duct for the best operation and safety.
It was kind of a tight fit to attach the duct to my dryer, so I also purchased a 90 degree crimped elbow and attached it to the dryer with a band clamp, so the install was much easier, and will be much easier to install a new dryer duct in the future when this one needs to be replaced or cleaned. They're relatively cheap to replace, so I usually just replace them rather than go to the trouble to try to clean them.
It's much sturdier than the cheaper foil vents, which can get holes in them relatively easy, if the dryer is ever moved, so it lasts longer.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JF This product is awful!
I want to know how to get it to 8 feet without crimping it or bending it. Poor construction, design whatever.
