Customer Questions & Answers

If the can lighting has a 26W Florescent light bulb, does that mean only the same type bulb can be used? I do not like using mercury light bulbs.

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi Jojo, inside the can itself should have the type of bulbs that you can use. Usually there are listed on one side. You can find LED replacement bulbs for the type you have now. LED bulbs are super efficient and last years and years.

Customer Reviews

90W Equivalent Reveal (2500K) BR40 Compact Fluorescent Flood Light Bulb is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from bright, economical, but too long to warm up The good: Once warmed up it is nice and bright and less than 1/3 the watt consumption of equivalent incandescent flood. Not so good: When first switched on it's little brighter than a night light and takes about 2-3 minutes to reach full brightness. OK for most uses, but in a recessed can over kitchen work area we want "light now".
