We bought this because our old microwave was starting to have issues. So far this one has been great. Heats up beverages and different plates of food perfectly. I like the different levels of light and ventilation. It wasn't hard to install even though our wall and cabinet were already full of holes from the last install. The cord was slightly shorter which was very close to being a big problem. It looks great with our new slate range.

We replaced our other hood microwave because we went with this new color. Love the color and this unit has more features than the old unit. The fan is much more powerful. I'm not sure if the mic works faster than the old one, it seems to but we really only replaced it for the color. Even though I was replacing an existing unit I would recommend paying the money to have them do the install. It wasn't to hard but was not the same hanger and required the template and drilling and drywall anchors to install the different hanger for this unit. It would have been money well spent.

In 10 months I have had a wire harness, main circuit board and overload replaced. That worked for about 2 months and now the microwave wont heat any food. Today was the 4th day I had to take off work to have it serviced. Of course the parts needed to be ordered so I will have to take a 5th day off of work when they arrive. Total it has been about 5 weeks that I had no working microwave. I am very disappointed in this product and look forward to the day I get to take it outside with a sledgehammer. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the Adora microwave.

After I installed the microwave and opened the door, I discovered numerous small black specs on the white door frame which is the sealing surface for the door. They were areas where the paint was chipped. GE customer service refused to correct the problem because they do not care about "cosmetic" issues. I recommend you thoroughly inspect all surfaces (interior and exterior) for damage upon delivery. Do not accept delivery of any appliance with cosmetic damage because GE will not cover it under the warranty. I refuse to purchase GE appliances in the future because of their lack of concern for the customer and will let everyone I know about their policy.

Had an Adora Range Microwave and it just died after about 10 years. Wanted to replace it with like product so as to match my range. Very happy as it fit like a glove and even got to use the old bracket therefore taking less installation time. Extremely happy.

bought to replace a ge that was 20+ years old and had been moved 3 times. new one is almost the same layout for the keys.
