This is a very good product and I am very pleased that I selected it. The sensor is accurate so the reheat function works really well. The controls are well labeled and the display is large and easy to read, even from across the room. The vent fan works well and the surface light is as bright as I would want. We have had it for over a month and use it every day and have had no problem at all.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kathy Love this microwave!
I read some negative reviews of this microwave but decided to purchase anyway. My old Adora was 8+ years old and needed a new costly microtron to fix. I decided to purchase another Adora as I liked the appliance and it matched my frig, stove and dishwasher. My husband and I installed it. We had no problems with installation, nor did we have problems with the door aligning to the rest of the unit. We did, however, have a problem with the vent staying on constantly. The manufacturer came to our home within 4 days of installation and corrected the problem within 5 minutes. I would recommend this microwave, especially if you need it to match your current appliances.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by raeliak Happy with the performance... BUT BE FOREWARNED
Bought this microwave along with a matching stove. The microwave cooks quickly and I like it very much HOWEVER the door is sagging 1/8" - just as rip44 stated. Thinking that I might be too critical I asked my teen to check it out, and he noticed it immediately. GE came down and checked it out and the guy indicated that there was no adjustment for the door alignment, and he recommended that I have Home Depot replace it. Guess what - the new unit is also misaligned (check out pic). When I checked at the store I was not surprised to see that the store unit was also off. What's the deal? This is just pathetic quality control!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by wgburgess Looks great, easy to use, but a tad slower cooking
I like everything about this product, except that, even though it is supposed to be higher powered than many other microwaves, it seems to take a little longer to heat things up. Otherwise, it is quite, the fan works well, the lighting is great, and it looks fantastic, inside and out.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Greg PIECE OF JUNK!
When we bought our home, we bought a GE Adora microwave from Home Depot. The thing died after 18 months. It was too expensive to fix, so we bought another GE Adora microwave from Home Depot. 15 months- DEAD. This microwave is the biggest piece of junk. Do not buy it- period!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GandDad GE Adora DVM1950DR1BB April 2013 and very happy
We replaced a Sharp OTR microwave we had put in when we built in 1994. It quit and we got our money's worth. This microwave, has us happy to this point (1 month). Ours vents to the roof and the 400 CFM fan is really better than the previous and worth looking at, if you plan to vent to the exterior or use existing (which we were able to use)
Only drawbacks is this one has a handle, while our other one did not. And Popcorn cooking (see below)
The interior being like an oven, while darker, is really something we like.
The popcorn function is lousy and we are just doing a timed full power cook.
The reheat function is very nice compared to old one. I seems to use just the right amount to heat up from the fridge and not dry out.
I chose to install myself and was really nervous about it, but it was relatively easy taking about 3 hours total to install. Had to cut some backsplash tile and drilling for a different pattern of holes versus the old install. Install the new bracket, two people to lift and catch the fasteners to finger tight.
