GE Automatic Plug-In Photocell Light Control , is this only for two prong plugs, No ground wire?

This item appears to have only two prongs with a photocell below it about where the ground wire should be. Is that correct? Is there another model that is set up for a three prong plug?

Answer:
Hi George,
Thank you for your question.
The 18258 is a polarized device. It has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). At this time GE does not offer a similar product with a grounded (3-prong) outlet.

I have a glass stand at the entrance and it used to have in base 2 lamps fluorescent 12 inch long and 1 inch wide. Both have been burned out, I replaced them with 2 LED strip bars, one foot each. I would like to know if this plug photocell is working with LED products. I know from previous answer that is not working with CFL bulbs. But I wonder if is working with these LED strips.
Thank you.
