The replacement filter label does say that it is manufactored for GE in Kentucky. For what that is worth.

Looking for both filters for the GE Undersink Dual Stage Combo Filter

I have Model GXSV10C which requires 2 filters. One with green cap ends (which I see on the website), and one that is gray (which isn't listed). How can I find the 2nd (Gray) filter needed?

Customer Reviews

Dual Stage Drinking Water Replacement Filter is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Review by Repeat Customer I purchased the GE filter unit at least 10-15 years ago to replace a faucet mounted style filter, so I've been buying these replacement filters for a long time. The water doesn't seem to taste much better than the non-filtered water. I just assume it contains less contaminates since that's the purpose! I would recommend these filters if you already have the unit because some cheaper filters had reviews were very negative, saying the filters came apart; I've never had that happen with these GE filters. However, I am concerned about the responses from GE representatives in the other reviews concerning which filter goes into which canister. All these years, we've been putting the green ringed filter in the left (intake), as the directions on the wrapper indicate (see Image). This time, I put the light gray ringed filter in first. I hope this is correct.

I was surprised by the very fine charcoal left from the previous filters. These are very "tight" filters, and seem to have reduced water flow through them compared with the prior filters, but it is still adequate for the single tap they feed. No change in taste, but we live in an area with very good water quality to start with. It does take a long time, like a day or two, before the filters are thoroughly saturated and the water from the tap isn't slightly aereated.

These are the wrong filters that were chosen by the store representative and, fortunately, I have not yet opened the package. Unfortunately, I did not notice these were the wrong filters until this morning. I am going to return the filters to the store and hope they have the correct filters for my GE filtering system.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Instructions on the original filter holders from GE and replacement... Instructions on the original filter holders from GE and replacement filter package does not match regarding which filter is first on input side. The green top filter (carbon) should come second. The white/cream top filter should go first as it just paper to remove silt and solid particles.
