Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 136 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good variety of features We replaced the old GE dishwasher with this one. I liked the drawers in the old dishwasher better, so we stole the old ones that hold the dishes better and the top drawer had a spinning arm to get the underside of the glasses and cups on top. It quiet and cleans very well. October 30, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good washer overall It works well with the normal wash cycle lasting about 90 min which is not bad compare to some other that I read could last over 2 hours. I haven't tried any other setting so far. The heated dry doesn't seem necessary. All gets dry without it ,except plastic containers. I could use a small load, or light soil feature but didn't realize that one model didn't have it. The only problem I have is the lower rack wheels don't really stay align with the tracks on the side so when I push the drawer back inside, sometimes one side falls at the bottom. So I have to set it balanced before I start the wash otherwise it will fall during the cycle with a big bang of dishes. It might not impede the cycle but still, I wish I could just pull and push that drawer without having to check those wheels all the time. June 26, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great dishwasher for the money! We replaced a 3 year old, 3 times more expensive dishwasher with this basic unit. It cleans as good as the last one and takes less time. It does run a little louder. In the end a good product for a decent price. May 1, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Is quiet Was surprised how small it was inside. However, it does a good job cleaning the dishes and is quiet. April 17, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for the money Bottom line, it cleans the dishes well. Would like it to be quieter, but I realize that means more money... so this is a good value. Wish the top rack had a bit more room for my super tall glasses, but adjustable means more expensive dishwasher. So again, this is a good value. September 27, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Does not clean thoroughly or completely, very loud & slow We purchased this dishwasher to replace the same one we purchased back in 2000. Thiis dishwasher is a piece of junk. It does not clean thoroughly, even on heavy duty mode, and we find many times that we have to run everything through twice to get it clean. This dishwasher is very loud. I even saved the insulation from the old dishwasher and added extra installation on the new dishwasher where there was none, but it does not help and it's very loud. Compared to the old version of this same model, this new version does take longer to run, 1:30-2:00 hours for a typical load. I would not recommend purchasing this dishwasher. June 18, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A bit cheesier quality than the identical version I purchased in 2006 I ordered online and paid for installation. but when delivered IT WAS NOT INSTALLED. My husband went to our local HOME DEPOT in Encinitas, and they paid to have their installer come out. So it was a misrepresented in the online purchase. So I paid for installation that was not done by the cheesier delivery company I wanted one that looked like the one I purchased before to go with our profile oven and microwave It works fine, ie its ok. Differences: The stainless part on the outside seems a lot thinner. The black plastic above the latch is sharp! the insides are v. simple. No instructions. The rinse reservoir is different and I do not know why. June 26, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ugh... Owned less than a year We built a new house and had the builder install this dishwasher as a, "upgrade" appliance. BIG mistake. Less than a year we noticed a bitter taste to our drinks. After a quick, "water in a clear glass" test, we noticed soap suds. We called GE because it was under warranty. They sent a tech out who did a inspection. According to tech, water temp tested fine, dishwasher was functioning properly. He noticed after running the dishwasher without dishes or soap, the water in the tub was full of bubbles. His explanation? We don't have enough water pressure to properly rinse the dishes and to switch to a different brand of dishwasher tabs. Yep, this was our problem, not GE's - unbelievable. This certified GE tech actually told me that this dishwasher should not be sold due to it's poor performance. RUN from this product, we just spent $1K on a new dishwasher April 30, 2014
