Be alerted when your windows are tampered with or broken with the GE Glass Vibration Alarm. This easy-to-install alarm monitors windows or glass doors for tampering or breakage. The alarm will sound when it detects vibration or break-in. Attach to any window or glass surface with the peel-and-stick application. The alarm features a hi/low sensitivity setting for your convenience. The alarm requires four LR44 batteries (included). It comes with a 90-day limited warranty.

The alarm on mine only goes off for about 20 seconds (NOT indefinitely), and then shuts itself off.

The alarm will sound continuously until it is manually disarmed. To disarm the alarm, all you need to do is slide the switch from the ON position to the OFF position. I want to leave my single hung window slightly open for fresh air. Would this devise set off when an intruder slide the window up to make an entry?

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0��by Not very sensitive This window alarm is not very sensitive to vibration, even on the "high" sensitivity setting. And the alarm noise, when it does go off, is not very loud. I'll just have to hope that the warning sign which shows to the outside world will act as $8-10 worth of visual deterrent. July 5, 2016
