When turn timer off, will it turn on at dusk the next day?

This question is from Indoor/Outdoor 2-Device Plug-In Timer

If I have the GE Indoor/Outdoor 2-Device Timer and set it to the Dusk/Dawn setting -
if I use the remote to turn the lights off at night (such as holiday lights) say, at 10PM at night, will the timer "reset" and turn the lights on again at dusk the next day, or do I need to use the remote to turn on the lights the next day?

Answer:
The remote is just an override for when you want it on/off outside of the time period you have set on the timer. If you turn it off prematurely it will still come on the next day as scheduled.

There are two, three-hole outlets in the bottom of the unit allowing you to plug in 2 electrical cords. The remote and/or the timer settings will control both.

does the receiver need 110 AC power, or is it a battery?

This question is from Indoor/Outdoor 2-Device Plug-In Timer

I want to use this for battery operated LED lights high on a wall, so I want to rig the unit to turn a low voltage wire on and off. Yes, I could run extension cords, etc. but I am trying to avoid that and go with battery LED's. Once the thing is up, it will be hard to get up to to turn on and off, so that's the idea. Thanks!

Indoor/Outdoor 2-Device Plug-In Timer is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 69.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised with easy installation Worked fine right out of the wrapper, used to make my patio lighting turn on at dusk and stay lit for 8 hours then turn off. Took 1 minute to figure out setting it and another 30 seconds to install. The on/off switch is nice for manually turning the lights on and off.

I ordered my first last year November 2015 for the deck outlet and was very happy with the performance and ordered a second November 2016 for the front porch outlet. I have an acre of land with Christmas lights and spotlights on opposite sides of the lot in the backyard. The "dusk to dawn" setting is so convenient to come on at dusk and then can be set to turn off after a specified number of hours. The quality lives up to everything GE created with the 100 ft wireless range and weather resistant design.
