I needed a closet light without adding electrical wiring. The motion activation has been funny with my family checking to see if the light ever goes off. It does. I should point out that the on/off/auto switch is kind of difficult to find in the dark, but we always keep on auto.

Installed inside closet door. To get the light to come on I have to wave my hand within 3 inches of the sensor for light to come on. The the light stays on for 15 to 20 minutes after I shut the door, so keep seeing the light under door. I have other items like this that are better

Light will stay on for 45 Minutes. Not practical as motion light and battery will need to be replaced at an unacceptable rate.

Not sensitive enough to detect motion across the entire width of the stairs.

It's pretty basic....remove the back, install the batteries and snap the back back on. Except when I put the back back on, the prongs broke off. So right out of the package the light has major issues. It worked for about a week, if I moved my hand in front of it. Then it stopped all together. Junk.

This light is a joke (and the joke is on me for wasting money on it). The light turns on 'high' when you wave your hand in front of it. Wave your hand a 2nd time and it turns to 'low' and wave your hand a 3rd time and it turns off. I bought it for a dark closet. I turn it on with a hand wave and then start searching in the closet. The motion sensor picks up my movement while searching, and turns the light to 'low' then 'off.' Who decided it was a good idea to have a motion sensing light that, instead of staying on when it senses motion, turns OFF when it senses motion? Very frustrating to have it turn off automatically before I've found what I need. Poorly designed. Had to replace the batteries (3 AA) two times in one month. As other reviewers have mentioned, it must drain the batteries when it's not in use because they only last 2 weeks or so. Horrible product.

Motion activated, and motion de-activated. This light does not turn off like an outdoor motion activated light would.

Range of the remote control is excellent. Easily mounted and batteries can be easily replaced.
