Hello, 707. Unfortunately, this particular ballast will not work. There are ballasts that will be able to do it, but this one is not compatible with that kind of bulb. Thank you. Scott GE Customer Service

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good price, but noisy on startup Product works fine, but has noise on startup (buzz). My wife made me replace it again with another brand because she didn't like the noise. So, if noise is an issue, spend a little more for another one. Otherwise, this one works great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Older-style ballasts Note this is a magnetic ballast rather than an electronic one. The behaviors reported by other reviewers (slow starting, noise, etc.) are much more common with magnetic ballasts, plus they're less energy-efficient. Based on what I've read, magnetic ballasts are rapidly being phased out so my 2¢ would be to go electronic. The cost is the same or only a couple of dollars more, which will probably be made up in later savings. I've rescued two failed fixtures and (OK, at least so far) have had nothing but good results from the new technology.

This is the first time I have purchased this particular ballast, but I will certainly order this product again and again.
