Answer:
It is not shown but there is a cover over the actual breakers. The cover is watertight and is also capable of being locked. Just remember it is plastic and a toothless beaver could get it unlocked.

The specs for this panel say it is OK for 14/4 wire. Can it accomodate 12 and 10 gauge wire ?? I have to use 12 gauge for the 20 amp branch circuits. Plus, 10 gauge for the 30 amp main breaker.

Can't find a smaller panel than this one ......

The panel is rated for 125 amps so it could carry 2 - 20 amp branch circuits easily. You would need a separate source of power for the 30 amp main breaker but that could be done with a disconnect like the ones used on an air conditioner. You can actually find indoor rated panels much cheaper than this if it is going to be inside a van and out of the weather. This panel is weatherproof. If you are using a Read More

If you are using a power inverter just run 10 gauge wire to the lugs and add 2 breakers. The panel can be used for # 4 wire down to 14 gauge wire. # 4 is rated for 125 amps. Read Less

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An excellent box for adding dedicated circuits I added eight dedicated circuits to my audio/video room using this box. It is small, easy to install and use. I also painted it since we get too much sun in Arizona. October 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent non-metallic box I have installed over a dozen of these. For a lot of outdoor applications, I love these boxes, although they used to be half the price they are now. To the other reviewer, when a box is stated as being outdoor, it will be surface mount. Don't leave a 1 star rating just because you don't know this. The rating is for the fit, finish, durability, etc. for the product, not for your being ill informed. May 23, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The product was not accurately described. The website did not indicate whether the product was for surface or recessed mounting. The picture looked like it is for recessed mounting. When I opened the package, the box indicated it is for surface mounting which definitely does not suit my application. I need one that is recessed mount. Do I return the product for credit, or will you send a replacement product that suits my need? June 25, 2011
