Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great This is my second GE convection/microwave... This model is even better than the previous older one I had at another house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product Easy to use with good results. Would be better with a shelf in convection mode rather than the metal stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Pleased with my Profile Microwave-Convection I had a GE Monogram microwave-convection oven for 25 years and replaced it when my original Monogram wall oven needed replacement. I've waited several months to get to know the appliance before I posted a review. Overall I'm very pleased with this appliance. Both the microwave and convection functions are powerful. The touchpad is intuitive and well laid out, with good placement of the start and off/clear buttons. It has great functionality, cooks and bakes like a dream, and looks beautiful. It took 15 years off the appearance of my kitchen! There are a couple things I wish GE had done differently - I hope GE designers consult professional home economists, not just engineers. Most of us don't need an AM/PM display to tell us whether it's morning or evening. I'd rather have larger print on the digital display so I can see it from further away. I personally find the 15-second timer increments inconvenient - I want to be able to key in microwave times like 20 or 40 seconds but can't. This oven is so powerful that sometimes 30 seconds is just too long. I looked at online reviews before I selected this appliance and some people commented the programming sequence was complicated; others thought the oven was loud. There is one additional step in the oven start sequence - 4 steps instead of 3 - but I was comfortable with it by day 3. When working, the appliance is audible but for me, that's not a problem. I could always hear my Monogram microwave-convection and after awhile, you just tune it out. Bottom line - I'd recommend this appliance to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice finish, looks good flush mounted. It's a microwave! Works like microwaves we've had for the past 30 years. Nothing special about this one, but it looks very nice mounted in the cabinet above the wall oven. It states that it is it is 1000 Watt; NO WAY!!!! As stated, we've had microwaves for over 30 years and, based on past experiences, the TRUE output of the magnetron in the chamber seems to be about 850 Watts. Cooking times are longer than one would expect with a 1000 watt unit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's OK I don't think I am that dense but it seems like the manual is not very clear. Just seems like it could include a lot more information to make it a little easier to run all it's special features. I just seem to run it by cooking times I used with my old microwave. Not impressed, just frustrated with a new product that I don't feel is very easy to run.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Annoying design flaws While the unit works well, there are three very annoying design flaws. 1. If we push the button to open the door hard, it sticks in the unlocked (pushed-in) position, preventing us from closing the door. We push the button seven or eight more times and eventually it dislodges and pops back out. 2. There is a plastic spindle that interfaces with the glass plate and turns the plate. When we take the plate out to wash it and put it back in, if one of the three cogs on the bottom of the plate hits the plastic spindle, it pushes the plastic spindle down such that it will no longer engage with the cogs on the bottom of the plate. It is very easy to bump the plastic spindle and hard to pull it back up again. 3. There is not a good track in the bottom of the microwave to guide the three-wheel dolly that supports the plate. When the spindle gets bumped down (flaw # 2 above), the plate just skates all over the bottom of the microwave.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features except for the broiling feature I am disappointed in the broiling feature. I use the higher rack and it still seems to be to low to work properly. My meat does not cook and the oven seems to be getting too hot. I also feel there is not adequate instruction for this feature. all the other features are great.
