Purchased this refrigerator at another chain store. Never been satisfied with the interior size of the freezer, way too small for a family of four. Just passed the 6th year of ownership and I am having to replace my fridge. Was informed by a repairman that due to the wiring I have a dangerous short which has blown two circuit boards(complete with char marks...potential fire hazard). In my opinion not worth the cost for the short life span.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by RobM Good idea, poorly executed.
My wife and I could not agree on an exterior finish for the refrigerator and this gave a way to match the adjoining cabinetry. This part looks great, except there was not a provision on the insertable panels for the door grip on the fridge side. We thought that 23 cu ft should be enough, but it is really cramped - due partly to the "cabinet depth" which we wanted, but also to the large amount of interior space taken up by the ice-making gear. Drawers and pull outs are really small. We like the idea of the front ice dispenser and cold water - however stuff comes out all over the place and on to the new flooring. We are basically disappointed with our decision. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Figaro Don't let the appeal of elegant door panels trick you into buying this model.
The panels are a lovely look, but that's the only good thing I can say. This refrigerator has been nothing but trouble for six years prompting at least four technician visits in that length of time. The ice-maker is a horrible design making it hard to get to and to remove. The ice-maker also makes strange loud noises that the techs can't fix. Some controls are hard to reach, and the shelves are very difficult to remove. The last straw was a failed sensor that disrupted the temp balance between the freezer and the frige with the result that mold grew in the frige. The expensive repair coupled with the possibility of not getting rid of all the mold (can you ever REALLY get rid of mold) has prompted us to ditch this expensive refrigerator after six years.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by annoyed3 thing sounds like a chain saw
This refrigerator has a serious design flaw. Ice builds up inside the fan housing in the freeze and the fan blade starts hitting it and the thing sounds like a chain saw running. You have to open the freezer and bang on the fan housing to get the ice out to stop it. Very annoying. Unfortunately I built my kitchen around this particular sized refrigerator with the wood paneling so I have no choice but to keep it!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bant1234 shrinking space
We had the predecesor to this refrigerator for 18 years and it easily served our family of five. Space was rarely an issue. When it finally could no longer be repaired, we bought the next generation - it was the only one that would fit in our space. Big mistake. The freezer and the refrigerator both have limited space. All of the space is taken up by a giant ice maker, a giant light fixture AND a water filtration system that is attached to the back of the fridge. We can't fit half of what we are used to. The drawers seem to be smaller and hold less. It is a refrigerator/freezer for a family of 2 or 3 at a very high price. Before buying, look very carefully at all of the inside features that are taking up space. I wish that we could replace it; This is the worst refrigerator that we have ever owned (this is our 4th).

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Chris Not a bad refrigerator, but the Trim Kit is poorly designed.
The only reason I chose this model was because it has a Trim Kit, which is designed to accommodate front panels that match my kitchen cabinets. The kit is poorly designed. The supplied pieces don't line up as they should, and therefore will not stay in place. I am going to have to get some sort of heavy duty adhesive to get the side trim pieces to stay on. I shouldn't have to do that.

Some of the features (i.e. "flexible" shelves) actually reduce usuable space. Cleaning is easy except that fridge has to be pulled from wall to do it. Icemaker is a disaster! Very low output, even with "quick ice" and much spatter instead of clean cubes. Unfortunately, only one on the market that fit our space. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I love this refrigerator. You can add oak, or wood of choice, paneling/plywood, or not. It's nice to be able to mix it up when you need a change. Inside offers visual inventory of everything. Crisp, clean white and clear glass shelves. Easy to keep clean, even with children.
Wonderful inside water filter, easy to change. And large capacity water/ice filling dispenser. The evening light is a soft but bright blue.
Buy online to save shipping costs, and have your old refrigerator taken away for free too.
I am surprised these refrigerators are not more popular. My husband installed oak plywood front with one 4 x 8 sheet, in less than an hour. We finished it ourselves. Plywood and materials all purchased for under $100.
The only issue I have is I wish it offered more than just one sliding shelf. The idea of even having a sliding glass shelf is fantastic, for tall items. It allows you to slide it in for a mini-narrow shelf, or pull it out for a full capacity shelf. Other than that, this is a really nice find.
