What's the difference between GE model wall oven JKP75DPBB and PK956DRBB

I looking to purchase one of these ovens. Is the wattage lower on the upper oven if it is a convection oven? The cut out width is the same for both ovens - why does one have the same required cabinet width as the cut out opening 25" and the other is 27". I have a special financing card for Home Depot credit for no interest if paid in full 12 months - can I apply this to my oven purchase?
Asked by: Anonymous
Plan on an opening width of 25.25 inches up to 25.5 Inches. The oven will fit perfectly. It is one unit, and requires a single 30 amp 240 volt circuit with two hot leads; ground and neutral can be combined. (The ground and neutral come crimped together for this purpose, if you don't have a separate ground conductor.) Home Depot told me that the no interest for 12 months offer is applied automatically if you use your Home Depot card.

Is the fan very noisy after you turn the oven off?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello Sonia, Thank you for your interest in the GE Profile Convection Double Wall Oven model # PK956DRBB. Yes, GE wall oven and ranges use fans to help cool down the internal components after baking or self-cleaning. The oven-cooling fan for the electronic controls is controlled by a thermostat. The cooling fan may run throughout the entire bake cycle and continue even when the oven is off. This is considered normal operation. There is not a noise level that can be provided. Everyone will hear sound differently and each enviroment will have different acoustics. Should you have any additional questions, please let us know. Donna with GE

27 in. Double Electric Wall Oven Self-Cleaning with Convection (Upper Oven Only) in White is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid features..well built Replaced a 20 year old 24" single oven/microwave combo, so the new double oven was a huge leap forward. Heats up a little slowly, but then maintains steady, even temp throughout. So well insulated that, unlike our old oven, you don't feel the heat outside, and it stays warm inside for hours after. Really like the warming and timed cooking options. Thought we might want 30" size, but would have had to buy new cabinet, too, so went with 27". Glad we did as it has all the space we need.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This range is noisy I recently purchased this wall oven to replace my old white GE oven. I am disappointed because there are 3 cooling fans (in addition to the convection fan) that keep running constantly, even in the warm mode. After you completely shut off the oven the cooling fans still run for another half an hour. It is noisy and my old oven had no such cooling fans so I don't understand this new design. Further the cooling fans make my whole kitchen smell of the food being cooked. Apparently, these fans are not just a feature of the convection oven but rather a new design to cool all electric wall ovens. I could not test this nor is this listed in the manual. I miss my old oven that had no noisy fans and worked perfectly fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy Unit is actually 26.5 inches wide which was good as I was replacing a old 24 inch wall oven. Sale price was just over $1900.00! Excellent value at that price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice My wife wanted a double wall oven so when this went on sale I jumped on it and we couldn't be happier with the looks and performance so far after 1 month.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible for baking We've switched to baking cookies in a toaster oven because they come out better than when we use our GE Profile double ovens. Crazy! When pre-heating, the display shows that the temperature has been reached, but the oven is still up to 100 degrees lower. After it finally does reach the requested temp, it fluctuates 50 degrees over or under during cooking. Certainly not ideal for baking. We've had GE technicians out twice to look at the ovens and were told that this is just the way that this style of oven works. I wish we could afford to get an oven that actually works properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product but pricey! Easy to install and easy to use. It does a great job and both ovens are self cleaning. Whether using the plain oven or the convection feature this oven does a nice job. It could be more competitive price wise! I still recommend this product ?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long time time warm up and cool down It is a beautifully finished oven that handles all my cooking needs quite well. My only complaint is the time it takes to warm up and cool down. While cooling down the fan is running. While not particularly load it is annoying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good buy We had a double oven in our last house. My wife really miss have one in our new home. We went to home depot and found a better one then what we had. The only down side was the cost. Man they have jumped in price.
