Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DrBill Great product but pricey!
Easy to install and easy to use. It does a great job and both ovens are self cleaning. Whether using the plain oven or the convection feature this oven does a nice job. It could be more competitive price wise! I still recommend this product ?

I automatically bought this oven to replace my original Profile unit. The convection oven in my first one was damaged by a lightning strike, so even though the lower oven was fine I went ahead and replaced the unit. Thirteen years with no problems whatsoever. The new one never cooked evenly or any faster with the convection on. Opened the door to put brownies in yesterday and it was catching on fire somewhere internally. Burning plastic odor and smoke filled my kitchen and lights were flashing on and off. Not happy, expecially since my extended warranty just expired a couple months ago!

We had a double oven in our last house. My wife really miss have one in our new home. We went to home depot and found a better one then what we had. The only down side was the cost. Man they have jumped in price.

We've switched to baking cookies in a toaster oven because they come out better than when we use our GE Profile double ovens. Crazy!
When pre-heating, the display shows that the temperature has been reached, but the oven is still up to 100 degrees lower. After it finally does reach the requested temp, it fluctuates 50 degrees over or under during cooking. Certainly not ideal for baking.
We've had GE technicians out twice to look at the ovens and were told that this is just the way that this style of oven works.
I wish we could afford to get an oven that actually works properly.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by noisyoven This range is noisy
I recently purchased this wall oven to replace my old white GE oven. I am disappointed because there are 3 cooling fans (in addition to the convection fan) that keep running constantly, even in the warm mode. After you completely shut off the oven the cooling fans still run for another half an hour. It is noisy and my old oven had no such cooling fans so I don't understand this new design. Further the cooling fans make my whole kitchen smell of the food being cooked. Apparently, these fans are not just a feature of the convection oven but rather a new design to cool all electric wall ovens. I could not test this nor is this listed in the manual. I miss my old oven that had no noisy fans and worked perfectly fine.

Replaced a 20 year old 24" single oven/microwave combo, so the new double oven was a huge leap forward. Heats up a little slowly, but then maintains steady, even temp throughout. So well insulated that, unlike our old oven, you don't feel the heat outside, and it stays warm inside for hours after. Really like the warming and timed cooking options. Thought we might want 30" size, but would have had to buy new cabinet, too, so went with 27". Glad we did as it has all the space we need.

This oven is wonderful. It cooks food evenly and quickly. The oven has an abundance of features and the manual does a pretty decent job of helping one decide what features apply for the food and outcome desired.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AMKL Long time time warm up and cool down
It is a beautifully finished oven that handles all my cooking needs quite well. My only complaint is the time it takes to warm up and cool down. While cooling down the fan is running. While not particularly load it is annoying.
