Hi Bev- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We are happy to provide assistance. Fault codes are programmed in all electronic oven controls ( F7: This code usually means that there is a problem with the keypanel. Many times, it means the keypanel needs to be replaced). These codes help GE Appliance Factory Service technicians quickly diagnose issues with the oven. Sometimes shutting off the circuit breaker that the oven is connected to for 30 seconds will clear the fault code, however, there are some cases when further service may be required. If the fault code does not reset, please contact GE Consumer Service for assistance at 1-800-432-2737 or visit our Support page at GEAppliances.com to schedule an appointment online. We hope this helps. Thanks for reaching out to us! Read Less

Answer:
Hello Hopeful, This is Joyce from GE Appliances. I will be happy to help! This model does have the option to use traditional baking too. If you zoom into the controls you will see there is a separate function pad for Bake and a separate pad for Convection Bake. Thanks so much for checking with us. Have a good day!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Eh Lots of bells and whistles but overall not impressed October 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Roomy Ovens We bought this on-line a in the spring and only installed it in the kitchen about a month ago. The interior is much larger than our old GE double oven. We have some cookie pans we were unable to use until now. It was easy to install by ourselves. We have used it several times and like the results. Everything comes out evenly cooked and looking good! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Replaced Orginal Ovens. Easy Install & Work Great Direct replacement for original installation GE over/under ovens. No cabinet or wall modifications necessary. While the unit is heavy installation is not difficult. Ovens work fine. It would be nice if both ovens included the convection feature. September 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice double oven Pros: - Large interior for the size of the oven. - Works with my old house 30A wiring. - Good looking, nice controls, nice display (no blue thank you) Cons: - Very slow to pre-heat. Like as much as 15 minutes. Either oven. - Only one oven is convection. - Convection fan is loud, and wasn't working when the oven was installed. I had to give it a push with a chopstick to get it started, but it has been working since. October 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really nice ovens We bought these ovens and had them installed yesterday. They replaced another set of GE 27" wall ovens that were at least 20 years old. I'm so glad that GE hasn't changed their footprint because that would have deterred us from replacing them. They also pay to alter the cabinet if needed, at least that was offered through my retailer. The ovens themselves have worked well so far. Looking forward to baking and roasting very soon! September 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great features, terrific baking. Love the smart phone features especially now that they have GE Kitchen. Also the evenness of the baking is excellent. September 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty but complicated. I am happy but know i could use the features better. September 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointed!!! When the oven arrived, we were extremely happy with the oven, especially the sleek look of it. However, after only seven months of use (and definitely not daily use!) and ONE cleaning, the inside of the glass of the upper oven has streaky stains running from top to bottom. The inside of the oven itself is squeaky clean. Had GE service out today, who stated that this happens to ALL ovens because of the way they are vented to prevent the glass from heating and causing burns to people. He stated it is a COSMETIC ISSUE and doesn't affect the performance of the oven and, therefore, it is NOT a covered issue under the warranty. He offered to replace the door to the tune of nearly $500 with NO guarantees that it would not happen again. Our 28-year-old JennAir oven NEVER had this issue. Has anyone else had this experience with this or any other oven? October 21, 2014
