CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 118 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Cooktop, But Know About Induction This cooktop is actually wonderful and I'm so glad I spent the extra money for an induction cooktop. Heats and cools quickly - like a gas burner. But, if you are like me and did not really know what induction meant, do your homework. The cookware used on an induction cooktop must be induction compatible. My Calphalon and Revere Ware would not work on it. If you purchase new cookware, read the label. Make sure it will work with induction cooktops. Not all stainless steel cookware is compatible. Just a little heads up for those that buy because it sounds great(like me). August 29, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Met my expectations and love the induction feature I purchased this for looks...completely seamless and is a work of art! and function. No knobs or buttons or annoying white circles or starbursts. I am still learning to use it as it is very different from regular electric cooktops. It mimics gas cooking. When it is off, so is the heat. The controls are very finite and responsive just as it would be with gas. I did have to run a new electric line as my old top was 30 amps and this is 40amps, an additional expense. The customer service was great when speaking with them with regard to delivery as were the delivery people. February 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very Sleek Redoing my kitchen.Got this on sale. Really nice to have electric that heats up as fast as gas yet the surface doesnt get hot enough to even burn you. Be prepared to buy new pots and pans. A magnet must stick to the pot for it to wogrk. Aluminum or Stainless does not work on this stove. Also, if you use daily, be prepared to clean daily with ceramic top cleaner. Every finger smudge will show. October 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Cooktop We have been very impressed with the functionality of the cooktop. Obviously it heats up very quickly and cooks evenly. We had to purchase new cookware that was induction compatible but would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a cooktop. I would point out this unit requires a 40amp circuit, that may or may not be an issue for you but ensure you account for that large of a circuit. May 11, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Stove stopped working No issue with using this stove top for the first three-years, but the stove top stopped working after a recent power surge. The two electronic modular's were damaged from the electric power surge - replacement for each electronic modular is $1,000. If you do decide on this model recommend an electrical surge proctor.
