I noticed that many of the cook tops that are recommended for use with this oven are no longer in production. We get it that gas cannot be used but could you update the list of induction models that work? Esp. the Cafe Induction?

I have had this oven for approx 4 years and I didn't like it from the beginning. First, it vents into the kitchen (maybe this is the set-up of my kitchen, but my old wall oven didn't vent/blow air into the kitchen). And the air is not warm, which is odd to me, so you get chilly if you are the one sitting in the chair opposite the oven. Second, it is noisy. It sounds basically like a microwave running all the time. Third, the heat elements make it difficult to get in there and clean it. Newer ovens don't have the heat elements, so you can easily clean it. Fourth, any spills that get on the door (because accidents happen when trying to pull out the racks) end up on the floor when you close the door. Fifth, the picture makes it look like the controls are easy to see, but they AREN'T! I have to use a flashlight to see the control panel, which is ridiculous! Why didn't they make this light up so you could see what you are doing. I'm just waiting for this oven to break so I can get a different one. I decided to give it 2 stars instead of 1 only because I like the double oven feature (even though the bottom one won't hold a larger turkey, if that is what you are wanting), and it seems to cook my food fine. Other than that, I hate this oven.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Major Flaw This oven is great in that the double oven feature works great. It is a great idea with one major design flaw. All the controls (which are electronic) for the oven are in the top door, which has a row of slots along the top for ventilation and a slot on the bottom. If you spill anything on the oven door (like we did) and it runs into these slots you will short out the entire oven. Fortunately for us our oven was only three days old and GE covered the $600 repair. If you must buy this oven buy the maximum extended warranty available unless you never anticipate spilling anything on the top door.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Self cleaning function I purchased this oven not quite 2 years ago. Its beautiful and really fits our cooking lifestyle to have 2 ovens with one being a convection oven. I set the self cleaning cycle for the top oven recently and half way through the cycle the oven's touch pad went out. No problem with power--flipped the breaker on and off to try and reset it and still had nothing on the touch pad. The repairman came out 2 days later and said the high (heat) limit safety went off. The safety can't be reset, it has to be replaced. I was told to not use the self cleaning function or it will happen again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for us We recently purchased the Single/Double wall oven, and have found it to be ideal for us. We frequently have friends and extended family over, so having a double oven is very helpful. Having one that fit into the space of a single oven saved us a great deal of installation hassle. The first question everyone asks is about oven space -- are the individual ovens too small since they're in the space of a single oven? Not at all! The lower oven is very spacious, and the upper oven is quite practical. I examined the oven side-by-side with our old oven to see how they made that work from an engineering perspective. It turns out the old wall oven was much less effecient in the way it used the space. In terms of its features, this oven seems quite strong, and the controls are clear and very usable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW ! ! This single size ( double ) wall oven is the BOMB ! ! Very hesitant at first because of price but well worth the money. Saves you the space and cooks the same of even better than a double wall oven. Great purchase ! !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An incredible oven combination The GE. Profile was the only combination of a large regular oven plus a smaller over I could find in any manufacturer. The large oven takes a 25 lbs. turkey plus I now have the ability to cook roast potatoes etc. in the smaller oven, at the same time, at a higher temperature. I use the smaller oven all the time to cook, bake, and broil, being smaller this saves $$. I rarely use a microwave (because I don't like them) however we do have one which sits above the oven unit. Well done GE for filling the gap no one else does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Oven! My wall oven cut-out only allowed space for a single oven. This GE 'double in a single' is a dream come true - I finally have a double-oven again! Even if you don't "need" or want a double oven, seriously consider this model. First test was a convection-roasted chicken in the 'big' oven using the probe. Perfection. Next was a roast (same method) and roasted companion veggies, followed by rolls in the upper oven. Again, perfection. Haven't tried multi-level convection baking, slow-cooking or proofing yet, but will soon. No reason to expect anything but perfection. The 'little' oven definitely gets the most use since we're usually cooking casseroles/meals for only 2-3 people. Mine preheats in only 7 minutes! Door handles stay cool, and cooking on high temps doesn't heat up my kitchen. Little things I love ... a beep when preheated temp is reached, timer gives a heads-up beep 1 minute before time's up, and oven lights that allow you to really see inside with the door closed.
