Has anyone installed this double oven under the cooktop? Would it be difficult to operate and look inside the lower oven since it will be at the bottom?

Hello MiMi,
I am happy to help. Model PT925SNSS can be installed in combination with models JP3530SJSS and JP3030SJSS.
Installing it under the cooktop can pose some challenges as far as bending over to get food out, etc. I hope this helps. Thank you for checking with us.

Answer:
Hello SafetyMD,
I am happy to help. Gas cooktops are not approved for use
over the GE Profile single/double PT925. The
gas cooktops are too deep to fit above this cooktop. Thank you for checking with us.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 41 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Self cleaning function I purchased this oven not quite 2 years ago. Its beautiful and really fits our cooking lifestyle to have 2 ovens with one being a convection oven. I set the self cleaning cycle for the top oven recently and half way through the cycle the oven's touch pad went out. No problem with power--flipped the breaker on and off to try and reset it and still had nothing on the touch pad. The repairman came out 2 days later and said the high (heat) limit safety went off. The safety can't be reset, it has to be replaced. I was told to not use the self cleaning function or it will happen again. December 31, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My favorite item in my kitchen I purchased this oven four years ago, it was the floor model so I got a great deal on it. I built my home that it is in now. I love this double oven. I cook for a small family and use the top the most. However, I use the bottom a bit too. I have used them both for the big holiday meals and they work like a charm. I am selling my home and moving to town, I am going to replace what ever oven I have with one of these. I will not get the great deal I got one this one, but I love these ovens! June 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Good luck Had It 4 months. It literally stopped working during Thanksgiving turkey cooking. It just died. I called GE to have it repaired. They gave me a 1pm.to 5pm Window today. No one ever bothered to show or call. I've been a hostage in my own home........... When you drop 3 grand on an oven you expect it to work, and if it fails you expect service. This oven delivers neither November 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for us We recently purchased the Single/Double wall oven, and have found it to be ideal for us. We frequently have friends and extended family over, so having a double oven is very helpful. Having one that fit into the space of a single oven saved us a great deal of installation hassle. The first question everyone asks is about oven space -- are the individual ovens too small since they're in the space of a single oven? Not at all! The lower oven is very spacious, and the upper oven is quite practical. I examined the oven side-by-side with our old oven to see how they made that work from an engineering perspective. It turns out the old wall oven was much less effecient in the way it used the space. In terms of its features, this oven seems quite strong, and the controls are clear and very usable. March 20, 2009
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Two ovens in the space for one. Provides exactly what I was looking for - additional capacity and ability to cook at different temperatures at the same time. Space limited to that of old single oven. December 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Good - Works as Advertised Been using about 6 weeks. Excellent product so far. Excellent design - 2 ovens in the space of 1. November 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GLORIOUS, GLORIOUS I replaced my 43 year old kitchen which was necessary. I didn't want 2 separate ovens so this one fit the bill. September 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Double ovens are just the right sizes! This oven cooks meat perfectly. I used the slow roast feature twice and my husband and guests were impressed with how moist and tender the meat turned out! The sizes of the ovens are perfect also. I can use the small one if I just need to bake something small, for the two of us. But yet, the bottom one, which is bigger, can be used at same time for when the whole family is over and we have lots of things to cook at different temperatures. Very pratical, space saving, energy saving and cooks and bakes very impressively! Very happy with this product. March 28, 2015
