We moved into our home and this was supposed to be a perk that was left from the seller. It was only a few months old when we bought the home. From day one, the igniter would have to be "tricked" into actually heating the oven. After buying a new igniter I find that the control board has to be replaced. Our repair technician came to install a new board shipped from the manufacturer and sure enough, the new board was defective. We have been without an oven for 4 months now, we are still waiting on a replacement board to be shipped from the manufacturer. Ugh!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dmm54 I love cooking with gas!
This is the first gas range that I have ever purchased because all of the homes I have lived in only had electric ranges. What a difference gas makes to my cooking ease. The convection oven is wonderful as well. We replaced a Thermador range that was in the house when we purchased it. Shortly after, it needed repair so we chose to replace it instead since it was 14 years old. We are so happy with our choice of this GE gas range. Plus it looks so modern and sleek in our kitchen. I would definitely recommend - in fact, my sister needed to replace her gas cooktop recently, and I told her how pleased I am with my new range so she chose GE as well. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Kari1973 Very hard to maintain it glass cook top
I have had this product for 3 years now. It works great. My family and I love it. We do a lot of cooking. However, when it come to cleaning, It's a tedious and painful job. Everything sticks to the glass cook top. I have to be extremely careful when cooking. If family members used it, I become a nervous wreck. Small spills and food drops need to be clean immediately. It takes a lot of elbow grease to clean. It takes me a good 45 min. to clean it. Very hard to maintain its beautiful shinning glass. I would NEVER buy another glass top again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jerryinseattle awesome slide in range
Same as my GE Profile microwave, I built a new house with an elegant kitchen that had to consist of top quality appliances. I did research and went out to several showrooms to speak with different sales associates to compare. I ended up choosing the slide in range based on the features and the way it would give my kitchen a high end appearance. I am used to using electric ranges but since purchasing the gas I would never go back. We bake, broil and roast quite often since my wife is a chef. The food always turns out perfect. The only issues I have had is that stainless steel takes time to clean properly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dandy Good looking and a lot of features
I bought this range a year ago to replace my old GE range that I have had for 24 years. It has all the features that I could ask for and then some. The convection roast setting is great for browning while keeping the inside of your roast moist. The convection bake is perfect for baking on multiple racks. I have also use the proof feature for pizza dough. The cooktop is great looking and easy to clean. The simmer burner let me keep things warm without burning.
The only thing that might be improved is the space taken up by the convection fan. Other than that, this is a great range. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by TeacherBaker Poor Product
As a single Mom of three and school teacher, I bake for additional income. I worked two jobs to buy my "dream" stove. This purchase has turned into a NIGHTMARE! Just months after purchasing the stove, it broked down and I was asked to wait a week for a service agent to come to my home(right before Mother's Day when I was hosting the holiday for all my siblings). The same part is now broke again and I'm told I will have to wait 4 days for a service agent. I pray they show up with the correct part and I don't have to wait like the poor gentleman that's been w/o a stove for months. You would think G.E. would test their appliances before they push them out the door to us consumers and especially when we are paying over $2,000. And if the same part continues to go out on this model, why hasn't there been a recall or warning to consumers so they know not to purchase this costly and defective appliance?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SandyS I'm enjoying cooking with gas again.
I love the gas on glass cooktop. It's so easy to keep clean and looking brand new. I haven't used all the features yet like the self cleaning oven or the probe, but so far I'm enjoying the cooking experience. This is my third GE slide in range and the first gas range I've used in 20 years. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to cooking on gas again but I'm loving it. I also like the size of the bottom storage drawer, it's a perfect place to store griddles. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We've had this range for about 4 years and have had over 4 service calls to repair door, igniter and other parts. I would never recommend a GE product again especially when spending this kind of money.
