We may need to adjust our new cabinets for thicker laminate (12mm) and I wondered if there will be a height problem with the stove if we run the laminate under the stove area first. Since it is a slide in, it really needs to have a good range of adjustment in the feet - are they knobs that turn?

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 327 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great stove, works well, couple of features missing Used for a couple a couple of weeks now and has worked wonderfully. The front left burner is ~20,000BTU and boils water faster than anything I've had before. Precise control of temp for the oven is great, and the warming drawer is useful. Center griddle is heavy duty but so far I still prefer a real pan. Burner control knobs are solid and everything is easy to clean. The burner's low setting is extremely low and great for simmering or melting chocolate. Watch out for the side "wings" that sit on top of the counters, it helps eliminate the gap between where food can fall but also limits how it all can fit together. Couple cons: No ventilation fan. My last slide in oven would vent the top and oven into a 6" duct so no hood was required, why don't all convection ovens offer this now? Second, the touch panel for control is a little finicky as it's non-mechanical buttons and more like a phone's touch screen. Means its easy to clean but a little cumbersome to use. If you're picky about these things try it out in the store first. If it splashes or drips on the panel it will start "pressing buttons", happened a few times already. May 3, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stove We had this stove at our previous house and loved it! When we were replacing the appliance in our new home we wanted the exact stove. I was VERY disappointed when the stove arrived and did not have the Lodge griddle as our last one. We used the griddle lots and really enjoyed it. This griddle is not nearly as nice. October 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shaky start, but working great This range gave us some day one troubles with a bad touch screen and incorrectly installed burner. That said, within two days of calling to make a service ticket a technician came out and fixed everything up. It was fast and complete service. The stove works nicely and we use the central griddle for bacon and eggs regularly. The oven also works nicely and it functions well overall. Bottom line: Without the initial troubles it would've been a 5 star review. October 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Range!!! We looked at many different brands and the GE Profile had all the features we wanted and more. We are so very happy with the look and functionality of this range. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a slide in gas range. October 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by looks like a real chef's appliance Just had the stove installed yesterday and I already am so impressed with its features. Love the look of it, too! October 15, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good stove but few issues The look of the stove is nice and the gas elements work well however the touch pad controls are VERY sensitive!! You can just run your hand across it and it turns on the stove. Needs to definitely be fixed for future models. Also after having the stove for 8 months I started to get an F76 error code. When researching online apparently this happens and its an issue with the control panel and will continue to happen if not replaced. Approximate cost to fix is $600 when out of warranty. Mine was still under warranty however when I called GE they insisted that I just unplug it and that would fix the issue it did not. Service person is coming but we shall see. August 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great features Love the idea of the griddle on the top and the thermometer in the oven October 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bakes Great! Got the gas stove/oven and am pleased how quickly the oven preheats compared to the previous electric one I had. The buttons are touchy so it takes some time to get adjusted to. October 3, 2016
