We may need to adjust our new cabinets for thicker laminate (12mm) and I wondered if there will be a height problem with the stove if we run the laminate under the stove area first. Since it is a slide in, it really needs to have a good range of adjustment in the feet - are they knobs that turn?

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 296 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great stove, works well, couple of features missing Used for a couple a couple of weeks now and has worked wonderfully. The front left burner is ~20,000BTU and boils water faster than anything I've had before. Precise control of temp for the oven is great, and the warming drawer is useful. Center griddle is heavy duty but so far I still prefer a real pan. Burner control knobs are solid and everything is easy to clean. The burner's low setting is extremely low and great for simmering or melting chocolate. Watch out for the side "wings" that sit on top of the counters, it helps eliminate the gap between where food can fall but also limits how it all can fit together. Couple cons: No ventilation fan. My last slide in oven would vent the top and oven into a 6" duct so no hood was required, why don't all convection ovens offer this now? Second, the touch panel for control is a little finicky as it's non-mechanical buttons and more like a phone's touch screen. Means its easy to clean but a little cumbersome to use. If you're picky about these things try it out in the store first. If it splashes or drips on the panel it will start "pressing buttons", happened a few times already. May 3, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good stove but few issues The look of the stove is nice and the gas elements work well however the touch pad controls are VERY sensitive!! You can just run your hand across it and it turns on the stove. Needs to definitely be fixed for future models. Also after having the stove for 8 months I started to get an F76 error code. When researching online apparently this happens and its an issue with the control panel and will continue to happen if not replaced. Approximate cost to fix is $600 when out of warranty. Mine was still under warranty however when I called GE they insisted that I just unplug it and that would fix the issue it did not. Service person is coming but we shall see. August 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gas vs Electric We just had the stove installed (bought the same model but in Canada) and previously had a standard electric coil stove. I was excited to try gas for the first time and made boiled eggs this morning only to realize that the handle of the pot got too hot to remove the pot without an oven mitt. My kettle handle also got too hot. I made sure the element was not larger than the bottom of both so am quite surprised about this fact, never read anywhere when I was researching that this is the case. In comparison as well, our 13 year old coil electric stove boiled water much faster. It looks great, I guess it will be a learning curve I will get used to, have to get up earlier now to make my breakfast before work! August 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Could not be happier We were doing a major kitchen remodel and replacement of our old gas stove was needed. We were leaning toward a professional, chef type range, but found that they were too limited in features. While there complaints that the control board is too touchy, it really only takes 3 seconds to lock -- which is perfect with little kids around. We are very impressed with the quality and function of this range. I would highly recommend. September 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Propane users have a lot of work to do A total of 11 jets have to be changed to LP and the pressure regulator plunger has to be reversed to run LP. Clean looking unit, fits in many openings and covers the gap to the counter top. Only negative thus far is it shows finger prints. September 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by THE ICING ON OUR CAKE! We have never owned a gas range before in all of our homes, and now that we own this GE Gas Range, we will never go back! It has surpassed ALL of our expectations. The cooking is faster and the look is professional and sleek! September 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Looking Stove just bought this stove and already i fell in love with it, It has all the whistles and bells. September 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Powerful oven at a great price We've had this stove a month and it is great. I cook a lot and the power of the burners is great. Cooking temperatures are accurate. It also looks really nice! September 2, 2016
