I see two different answersl regarding counter height. One says 36" the other says 35-36.5 inches. My counters are a little short at 35 5/8. Will the range fit? Can the legs be adjusted downward?

Also, my horizontal width opening is a very tight 30". Maybe 1/8" less. What is the actual width needed horizontally between counters?

Hi Lois- This is Sue at GE Appliances. The minimum height to the cooking surface is 36 1/2" (legs screwed all the way in). Adjusted all the way down, the legs will add 1 inch of additional height. Also, the range is approximately 30" wide and requires a 30" wide cutout. For complete dimensions (cutout) and clearances, we encourage you to view the Installation Instructions at the following link: Read More

We just bought this stove and it came with 3 racks. We are trying to determine if one of the racks goes in the warming drawer or do you just set your baking dish in the bottom drawer?

Hi Jbell- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for your purchase! The range features 1 Self-Clean Roller Rack and 2 Flat Self-Clean Racks. Both are for use in the main oven. The warming drawer does not require a shelf. Place your baking dish on the floor of the warming drawer. Thanks for checking with us. Enjoy!

My current slide in range overlaps the counter so that there is no gap for crumbs and spills to fall into. Does this range overlap the counter or is there a gap between the top surface of the range and the counter?

Hello Pix, This is Joyce from GE Appliances. We appreciate your interest in our appliances. The cooktop should overlap your counter-top and there won't be a gap on the sides of the unit. Thanks so much for checking with us. Have a good day!

Answer:
Hi Pmit-this is Sue from GE Appliances. This range will operate on LP gas. It leaves the factory set for use with Natural Gas. If you want to convert to LP gas, the conversion must be preformed by a qualified LP gas installer. The LP Conversion Kit is included with the range. Thanks for checking with us!

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 232 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best range I've ever owned We installed the previous model of GE's Profile Dual-Fuel range at our home in Charlotte eight years ago and loved it, so I purchased another one when we moved to Asheville. It is significantly better and more beautiful in every regard. I love the upgraded burners with the dual level power/simmer burner in front. I love the 5th burner and griddle plate in the middle of the range top. I love the rolling oven rack that makes baking so much more convenient. I am a bread baker and the sourdough loaves from this oven are perfect. We have not yet used the warming drawer but look forward to doing so at the next big family feast. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stove! I've had this stove for about a year now. I love everything about it...except the fact that the oven takes a long time to get to temperature (about 20 minutes for 400 degrees). But I love the dual fuel. The cast-iron griddle is wonderful for French Toast, searing tuna, etc. The optional convection bake is a great feature! AND I love that not only does it have a warming drawer, but the oven itself has a "warm" feature. I'd buy this stove again in a heart beat! May 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good burner selections I upgraded to this range when buying a new house in Jan. I am very glad I did. The 4 round burners are all different sizes to suit about any pot. And with dual elements in the largest, you actually have 5 burner sizes to choose from. Center griddle is nice. Have not used it to much but the extra grid space is nice when you have a bunch of pots going. The oven came with three racks. The main rack is like a drawer in that it has guides and wheels making rolling out a large bird easy. That rack can also stay in while cleaning. The only thing I don't like or maybe I just haven't figured it out yet is the included oven temp probe. You stick it in the meat and set the internal temp you want to achieve and it takes you there. I would like the option to just be able to stick it in and read/monitor internal temp June 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by GE dual fuel Less than thrilled. Oven light burns out often. Takes long time for oven to heat up and is uneven. June 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great features We're excited to use this new gas stovetop and electric oven. May 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love this stove!! I LOVE IT...I found myself looking at it every time I went in to look at another model I thought I would buy. I love it. It is beautiful and is perfect in my kitchen. I enjoy cooking now. April 22, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Uneven baking several times now while baking cookies the oven does not seem to be cooking evenly. I have tried several types of cookie sheets, but it always seem to cook too much on the bottom even with the convection bake being used. May 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good looking /good cooking Converted to propane for this range.Very professional but measure carefully making sure to include the oven handle which can block cabinets that are close. April 15, 2016
