We are doing a custom installation in a island-like situation. We need to know what the back of the unit looks like, particularly the top 4" or so. Is it possible to get a picture of the back? Or find out where we can see one in a showroom? Thanks

Answer:
Hello Kalico,
This is Lisa from GE Appliances. I am happy to help. You can view the photos at the link below. There is one with an overhead view, which will allow you to see how the trim looks. You can contact Home Depot to see if they have one on the floor.
Thank you for considering GE Appliances!

6.6 cu. ft. Slide-In Double Oven Electric Range with Convection (Lower Oven) in Stainless Steel is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 393.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from cook top double oven Good: No need to remove oven shelves during self cleaning mode. €;)) wish the cooking surface was more resilient to hot liquid spotting and minor food spills. Not so good: its unpleasant to have to use special cleaner after each use £:( not so good: the control panel is so sensitive to movement that it turns off during cooking. €:( good: really like having two fully functional ovens instead of warming drawer which is a quite useless feature.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smell smell smell I have had this oven for over a month and we can't get rid of the smell. As soon as you turn any of the ovens on it smells chemical / rubber smell. We ran self clean and been running it for hours but no luck yet. GE is not being helpful with this problem. They say it's normal?!? Oh and to top it off one of the light bulbs inside the oven that I have yet to use needs replacement. And guess what, GE won't replace it under warranty? What? I paid a lot of money for this oven and this is what I get.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from keeping my fingers crossed I'm replacing my old profile with a new profile after only 3 years due to the cost to replace the electronic touch pad on the old one.Almost the same cost as buying a new stove. I liked the 1st model so much, I am giving it another shot, but this time with an extended warranty, that I hope I don't have to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Double door range So far so good. We liked many features on this range or would not have purchased it. We almost went for the induction top by another company but my wife really liked the idea of the double door oven. By getting this model, we're able to remove a toaster oven from out counter top, a bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DOUBLE OVEN SLEEK AND MODERN; DOUBLE OVEN SIZES ARE GREAT. CONTROLS AT THE FRONT PANEL ARE AWESOME WITH LOCK CAPABILITIES
Date published: 2016-12-03
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Difficult to instal We thought this would be a regular slide in, but due to the vent being more exterior, it added a couple inches to the back of the stove. Also, the stove back is not a clean 90 degrees, so we had to cut more counter out and put trim against the back, since it was to difficult to notch the counter to fit. The oven operates beautifully. My only dislike is how sensitive the controls are. We lock the oven when not in use, I just wish there was a feature that would allow you to lock the controls once the oven temp/burner temp has been set. I find that I accidentally bump them and they turn off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from handicapped or not...this is the one I bought this a month ago and it's the best range ever. I have bad shoulder joints..can only lift my arms halfway. WITH FRONT CONTROL it doesn't matter. My kitchen is really small but I still have 2 ovens .and the cooktop overhangs the counter just enough so there is no gap to catch debris. Control is the best..I keep it locked unless I am ready to cook or bake..no accidental turn ons. Now my daughter wants one too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Double oven We recently remodeled our complete kitchen and one of the requirements was that I had to have another double over stove. My previous brand I had had for over 15 years. This stove is a little touchy on the panel since it's a slide in model all buttons are on the front edge of stove so if you are leaning into a cupboard and you hit the button on the front it will either turn off your appliance or will turn another unit on the stove on! Great that it has a "LOCK" button so when you are done with your appliance you can lock it down so no little fingers turn on a burner by accident! Still trying to adjust my baking time since it seems to bake really fast, even without the convection oven on. I love the fact that if you have a large pan you can use the two burners on the left to make one large burner! I do like the appliance just need to get use to it and be very aware of the settings.
