The GE Q-Line 100 Amp 2 in. Double-Pole Circuit Breaker is a box-type terminal that is compatible with PowerMark Gold load centers. This breaker meets NEMA standards and is ANSI certified and CSA and UL listed. The unit features tin-plated copper stabs to create reliable, permanent and corrosion-resistant connections with a calibration screw that is cemented to prevent shifting.

I'm adding a 100a subpanel in my garage from my main breaker panel and need to use 2-2-2-4 cable to connect the two. Can I use this breaker with this type of cable?

Answer: 
The breaker is rated to handle 6 awg. to 1/0 awg. Cu. and 4 awg. to 1/0 awg. Al. there is other things to consider before you choose a wire size. the main lug will handle the 2 awg wire but that isn't the rule to use certain wire gage. Here is a link for a better understanding.

Just one more thing; "playing" with that kind of voltage is dangerous if you are not sure of what to do, please but please hire a professional this type of power can really hurt you or kill you. Read Less

Yes, the TPL412RT thermoplastic box uses THQL breakers.
