Bought two 65 watt halogen GE Reveal indoor flood bulbs, 485 lumens BR 30. I have a dimmer switch.
When the switch is in full light position and when I turn the lights on, there is a delay of 2-3 seconds before the bulb comes on. Is this normal and can this bulb be used with a dimmer switch?

Thank you...

Customer Reviews

Rated 1.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Keep burning out Was already a less than satisfactory replacement for the 75 W halogen's, but I had resigned myself to them. Unfortunately, like everyone else says, the bulbs keep burning out within weeks or a few months, nowhere close to the guaranteed life. June 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Short life I had recessed lights installed in my kitchen and chose these bulbs for them. Out of the 10 installed 6 months ago 5 have already burned out. April 6, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Life Well Below Advertised Hours I have tried these on numerous occasions and have been very disappointed with the low life. Perhaps they will work for 3000 hours in continuous use but in our kitchen with off on use they usually last less than a yr. with about 3 hours use per day. January 7, 2012
