I have a burglar alarm and an automatic gate opener. I have the sign on the middle of the gate. This way long before anyone gets near the house, they know it's alarmed.

This sign was only installed 2 months ago, so I am curious to see what the winter brings. After ordering it, I read a review that said that the print/color quickly faded and could no longer be seen. As of now, however (and after storm Sandy) it still looks fine. Web picture is exactly what you get.

This is a great product, the sign and decals look very real, I could't be happier with this purchase. Thanks Home Depot :)

I liked this sign but the plastic holder was a little thin and wavy. I think that the black plastic item that holds the sign in the ground could be a little more sturdy.

The signs are generic, which is what I wanted. The little stake is unattached, so a tiny bit of assembly is needed, but that's easy for anyone to do. I was a little concerned that the plastic stakes wouldn't be strong enough or last very long. But this is not a product that gets a lot of wear and tear, so I think it will be fine. Besides, I know I could easily and inexpensively rig up a new stake if they failed down the road. The stakes are shorter than my previous alarm signs, but they look fine in the yard and are very visable. And it would be easy to add an extension if need be. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and glad I ordered it.

This sign was made as flimsy as possible. It would break in any decent wind. (Post procurement -This product was reviewed similarly at another site.)

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rochelle Had to Modify...
The stickers are great, but it's also tough to mess up stickers... They adhere on the front, which is nice because you can stick them to the inside of a window.
The yard sign was a bit of a let down only because it broke right out of the package. The back of the sign has a holder on it that the post sides into. Well, that holder fell off the back of the sign when I opened the package, so I had to get creative...
I tried super glue first (even let it dry overnight), but that wasn't going to be strong enough to hold the sign to the post on even a slightly breezy day. So, I found four small screws that were leftover from another project, pre-drilled four small holes in the sign through the holder, and screwed the holder to the sign. Then I put the post in and haven't had a problem since.
Note: This sign didn't not work out of the box (and it was supposed to), I had to modify it to get it to work.
Outside of that, it looks great and I like it.

sign is cheap and the stake is short and flimsy. The sign cracked just trying to get it out of its packaging!
