Window and Door Supreme Silicone provides extra flexibility; in fact, it delivers twice the movement capability of other top-selling silicone caulks. Flexibility is important because the caulk on your home can undergo extreme expansion and contraction with harsh weather and temperature fluctuations. Because Window and Door Supreme has +/- 50 percent joint movement, the caulk can move and flex with the joint helping to keep the caulk from tearing or pulling away from the surface. Movement can cause degraded acrylic caulk to crack and crumble over time, leaving gaps for air and water to seep through. Those gaps can lead to water damage, mold growth and higher energy bills. By developing strength and adhesion quickly, Window and Door Supreme Silicone caulk can be exposed to water in just 30 minutes. When using most caulks, the project may have to be delayed or canceled if rain is in the forecast. In fact, some caulk requires up to 24 hours or longer before it can be exposed to water. Otherwise, the caulk may wash away, wasting time and money. A shorter waiting period increases convenience, speed and efficiency.

  • 100% silicone formula maintains its water-resistant and flexible properties over time

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 $'s well spent Used it around a flue where it pops out of a chimney, and no more rain water in the fireplace! It's flexible and will withstand hot and cold temps as the seasons change (I live in the northeast). It's available in clear, so it can be easily concealed if you're concerned about appearance. Also used it around a window to replace calking I applied 3 years ago... the cheaper stuff just isn't worth it! Nothing lasts long (30-50 years) or works better than 100% sillicone. Spend the money, it's worth it. November 2, 2011
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stuff unless you need to Paint ... I have small expansion cracks in my cement block house. Regular caulk eventually fails as the cracks grow bigger and smaller with the seasons. Supreme Silicone seemed like the answer. And it does seem to be wonderfully flexible. Only problem is, you can't paint over the stuff. Paint beads and won't adhere. In fairness, the tube does say "N/A non-paintable" next to "Paint Over Time" in teeny-tiny type in the instructions. But something as important as that is certainly worth mentioning in bigger print. Having applied this caulk all over my house, I now have to figure out some way to cover the darn stuff. Nothing is ever easy! March 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tried other RV roof sealant Yes. Tried OEM Ducor recommended sealant which cracked and shrank to seal roof seams. Used siliprene where I worked but that's not available in stores. Used Eternabond tape and cured that problem. Applied it overtop of everything. Then bought this caulk to seal the windows after applying putty around the inside perimeter. If you're going to need a water tight seal why not use the best you can find? This caulk does flex.
