I bought this to help protect my pump during the winter storage. Two years ago I didn't use anything and when I I pulled out my pressure washer last spring, the pump was killed with dry rot. Upon recommendation from my Home Depot associate, I bought this for last winter and when I broke out my Pressure Washer this weekend, it worked perfectly!
It was really easy to use, I just screwed it in to where my garden hose connects, and squeezed the bottle, then pulled the start cord until I saw the pump protector drip out where the high pressure hose hooks up.
Very easy, I would recommend to anyone.

the product is super easy to apply to the pressure washer and has a wintergreen scent. it keeps the pump conditioned and so far my pump hasn't died.

Won't go through the pump. In the past HD used to carry Briggs and Stratton Pump saver oil,"Pressure Washer Pump Saver (6039WEB)"
This works SOOOOO much better but they stopped carrying it.

I have used this as directed and my pressure washer is stored outside in a shed for the duration of the winter. Seems to work, we'll see in the spring.

this is very difficult to apply to a high pressure washer pump. you basically have to squeeze the bottle to force it into the pump. it may just be the type of pump I have, but I had to squeeze do hard that the liquid burst the seal of the bottle and just poured out on the floor. Home Depot use to sell a pump protector that was in a pressurized bottle, it worked well.
