Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HotinTN Seems the same as regular gap filler
This filler was on-sale but still a dollar higher than the reg foam for the same size. I used both types interchangeably and couldn't tell the difference. Both filled large gaps with the same ease. Material seemed the same once dry. I can't recommend it over the reg version for large gaps.

We bought this because we have a leak in the roof and there was a storm coming. No water came in! Great product, it worked to stall the repair. Piece of advice, use gloves, it can get everywhere!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Maggie It works, It really works
Love this "STUFF" works great and repairs literally last for years. I've used it to fill in large gaps where stucco has crumbled on the outside of my house. Keeps out weather, moisture, critters etc. until I can get to a more permanent repair. Easy and effective temporary or permanent repair. Only draw back is the nozzle. The newest renovation is a sliding cap on the end of the nozzle which restricts the flow. It caused so much pressure in the length of the nozzle that it snapped the entire nozzle right off the connection on top of the can. Look for the open ended nozzle. Store will exchange with no problem. Clean up is messy but if you clean the nozzle and straw well, you can get a 2nd and 3rd use from the can. Definitely wear latex gloves. This stuff is made to stick tight and your fingers are no exception.

Performs as expected but difficult to use and estimate quantity needed.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Abi2012 Very similar to regular Great Stuff
I needed to fill a gap of over 1 inch wide and 14-foot long. One can was enough, though I had anticipated it would be too much. As it turned out, the Big Gap filler was not substantially different than the regular Great Stuff in that it didn't expand as much as I expected. Therefore, I had to double back and re-fill many remaining gaps. In the end, it worked for my application, but its performance did not match the description on the can. In the future, I'll just buy regular Great Stuff because it seems to be more dense (i.e., smaller bubbles in the foam) when cured.
By the way, I've seen complaints about GreatStuff regarding how messy it is when you try to work it/shape it after applying it. GreatStuff is not caulk and should never be touched after application. Trim any excess only after it is fully cured (note: the inside can remain sticky after the outside is firm to the touch, so be patient).

I would possibly recommend this for a different application but I can't say, as I haven't tried any of the intended specifications.
