Heavy-duty GREAT STUFF PRO 26-1/2 oz. Wall and Floor Adhesive bonds to a variety of materials including wood and plywood, foam panels, drywall, masonry, concrete and tile. This indoor/outdoor formulation can be used with damp or even frozen lumber. GREAT STUFF PRO wall and floor is applied using one of the GREAT STUFF PRO series dispensing guns.

do I still need drywall screws?

If I apply this to studs and then place drywall could I just place screws around perimeter and not every 12" like normally?

There is some diversity in the coverage information. It seems one answer says that this will cover 16qt of regular caulk adhesive. The brochure says 4-6qt. Not sure which is correct but calculate using 12" bead. Attached is an image from the brochure itself.

Based upon the application details provided we would not recommend GREAT STUFF PRO™ Wall and Floor for your application. We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the brick stucco for a compatible adhesive.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great alternative to traditional sub floor glue for indoors i've been using the window/door foam for years and gave the floor stuff a try a few weeks ago: Works great for laying plywood / underlay on top of old floors. Had to pull some up again and bond is better than PL after a week. I will definitley use more often in my renos- indoors. new construction subfloor here up north won't fly: applicatiion temperature above freezing is only happening a few month in our region....
