Answer:
I bought the Model 14. It was great. To insulate windows i think I would get the plastic straws that push on the ends and keep on moving.

All PRO Series foam dispensing guns are designed to create an air- and moisture-tight seal between the gun and the can. Each PRO gun features a flow control mechanism that permits dispensing beads from 1/8" to 3" (0.3 cm to 8 cm) precisely where needed. The ability to restart combined with pinpoint control allows maximum foam yield and minimal waste.

The contents of the GREAT STUFF (TM) should be as close to room temperature as possible when dispensed. The application temperature should be from 40°F to 120°F (5°C to 50°C). If exposed to the outside air, should be 40F for a minimum of 2 hours while applying the product.

Answer:
In the past contractors have said they have used other manufactured guns with our products. However, we have not tested for this, so would be used at your own risk.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product I am re doing a retirement home and bought the foam and the gun for the 30 ounce cans. I did the front wall with 1/2 a can insulating the joist space in the crawl. The size of the cans made it a little awkward at first but I got the hang of it. Not much wasted material during the install, like the single use cans. To be able to leave the gun attached and come back a week later and just pick it up and start again! GREAT! October 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by cross threaded I purchased this foam along with the foam gun and cleaner. While on the second can of foam I was hardly getting any foam out. Using the cleaner for the third or fourth time, I somehow cross threaded the gun and then could not get neither the foam nor cleaner to work again. Since the smaller cans are $4 each, I'm going to using them. May 22, 2015
