What wattage does this unit consume/hour at maximum draw?
And at what degree is it rated down to (4 or more)?
And does it work for heat even below that rated mark like a Mitsubishi I reviewed?
Thanks.

I would put this unit outdoors and would like to install the vents where the hot/cool air will come out in three areas of the house.

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not a happy camper I purchased this unit in Nov. of 2014. Installed it around Oct. of 2015. Unit worked for about 8 weeks. Called Home Depot up and was told to call home depot online because that is where I purchased it from. I was told that the product wasn't covered under warranty and that I had to call Gree up and speak with them. I contacted an electrician and over the phone it was determined that the the components weren't communicating with one another and they sent me out two new boards that I had to have my people install and that I had to pay for. I felt this was ridiculous being that I had proof that the unit had only been in service for a few weeks. Gree did give me the two new mother boards at no cost.. Please also know the heat pump works well only some times. If the temp is in the 20's or low 30's my unit struggles to put out hot air. March 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cool through the summer and heat in the winter I purchased this unit online with the memorial day sale. The online rep was friendly and courteous. After the order, the unit took about 7 days to get to my house. The shipping company was nice enough to put it in my back yard for me. The install took longer than expected as the units are big and heavy. Please read the instructions carefully. After all connections were made and checked, we turned the unit on and voila... Nice and cool air. We checked the heating and it worked great too. we have some 800 sqft and this unit does the heading and cooling VERY easily. check specs of unit because it may not qualify for rebates from conedison or nyserda if you live in NY. Good luck and stay comfortable. June 19, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk!! I bought this product at the end of May 2015 and it's been nothing but a headache. I've had parts replaced several times, but i continue to get a E1 error and the unit goes out. Manufacture provides replacement parts, but I still have to pay an professional HVAC guy to replace them. I even tried going to home depot in October of 2015 to see if they could make an exception on a return they said NO online and told me to see if you can do it in store and they said no also. It's very disappointing to see a company like Home Depot not stand behind their products, probably the last thing i'll ever but from them. October 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent and cost effective unit The unit was packaged well and delivered as scheduled. We installed everything (concrete pad, outdoor compressor unit, and indoor "head" unit) but left the final connections to an HVAC contractor. This last step is very important because the 5 year warranty is voided if the unit is not "installed" by a professional HVAC contractor. Do it all yourself and there is zero warranty. The main outdoor compressor unit is HEAVY and awkward to move. You must separately purchase the pre-charged tubing that connects the outside unit to the internal head unit based on the distance between the two units (HD has 25' and 50' universal products that work well). The build quality is excellent. The install instructions are clear and easy to follow. The internal head unit has a moving directional (only on the vertical axis) set of vanes so that the incoming hot/cold air is not blowing into the same area constantly. The effect is similar to an oscillating fan but up and down instead of side to side. The remote control works well and has enough easy to control settings to please anyone I know. The internal head unit is on the large size ... but so is the capacity of the unit. Highly recommended unit that has a LOT of cooling/heating capacity. Compared to a traditional central heat pump system ... this unit is significantly less expensive on a BTU to cost comparison IMHO. At the risk of repeating myself ... find an HVAC contractor that will do just the final connections (many will not because it cuts their profit margins a LOT) and keep the invoice in case you need to claim on the 5 year warranty.
