Product Overview

Confident and versatile, the Eurodisc single-lever kitchen faucet complements a variety of kitchens in both look and functionality. The spout terminates in a pull-out spray head that features locking spray control and a push button that, when pressed, allows users to transition between two spray modes—regular flow and spray—with ease. The spray nozzles are protected against limescale buildup with GROHE SpeedClean technology. The top-mounted lever handle provides precise one-finger control of the water temperature and volume, thanks to a GROHE SilkMove for a lifetime of smooth operation cartridge. Eurodisc is available with a 1.75-gpm water flow in SuperSteel InfinityFinish, a warm finish that will not fade with time.

Customer Questions & Answers

does the spray stay on when you push the top indintation

i can't seem to find the answer for this
Asked by: lady
Yes and no. It stays on while the water is running, but if you shut off the flow and then turn it back on again, you may get a half-spray, half-aerator flow situation. When you select the aerator flow again, the faucet produces a number of drips to drain the spray face. Harmless, I suppose, but the mark of bad design.

What is the maximum counter thickness where this faucet can be installed?
Asked by: tired
The instructions say 2-3/8" maximum thickness.

How do you tighten the faucet to the counter? After 4 years it has gotten very loose.

Suddenly the faucet is very loose, and we cannot figure out how to tighten it. Other videos do not explain the method for this model. There isn't a face plate for ours, and we cannot turn the faucet completely around as shown in a different model's video.
Asked by: Needy
There is a brass nut under the sink that rests against a metal piece that looks like a quarter-moon. If you carefully tighten that while holding the faucet in place on the sink top, it should stay put. Not too tight--the metal isn't of great quality.

Do the water supply lines for this faucet use braided ss lines and do the 3/8 inch connections use gasket/washer instead of metal compression fitting?
Asked by: Mark
Yes on both questions. Connections work with standard modern valves coming out of the wall.

I'm an original owner of a high-end gut rehab in Chicago. The kitchen faucet is a Grohe pull out faucet. Recently the faucet on the pull out cracked and when I called to get a replacement, they said it was just "normal wear and tear" I take very good care of everything in my unit and can tell you that the crack must have been some sort of defect. I've heard such good things about Grohe standing behind their products. I called customer service and the person I spoke with was incredibly rude. When I asked her how to get a new faucet she told me - "I could go by new one online" in a very snotty manner. Grohe shouldn't say their products have a lifetime warranty if they don't and they shouldn't rack with normal usage.

Smooth installation, although done by a skilled person. So far, seems to be nice quality for the price. However, a few days ago, I noticed a sharp imperfection in the stainless steel at the front edge of the sprayer. I hope it is only an aberrant manufacturing defect, as prior to purchasing it, I read several reviews about how durable this faucet is supposed to be. I plan to contact the manufacturer.

When a year-old brass line that connects to the spray hose split and flooded my new kitchen sink cabinet (!), I called Grohe. Lifetime warranty, right? Nope. The service center only replaces parts that aren't permanently attached to the faucet body, like hoses and O-rings (their words). They told me to call Home Depot. Home Depot said, "That's very unusual. Isn't it Grohe's warranty?" I called Grohe. You get the picture. After five calls to marginally polite Grohe people and to VERY helpful Home Depot staff, Home Depot.com agreed to replace the faucet, which was clearly not Home Depot's responsibility. And because the HD person sympathized with my washing dishes in my bathroom, they expedited the delivery. Amazing. Moral: Buy Home Depot products, but not made by Grohe.

I have had this faucet since 2005 and we have had to replace parts twice now, most recently when the hose quick disconnect coupling failed under the sink where it attaches to the body of the faucet. While Grohe has a lifetime parts warranty for items in home use, who wants to be without a kitchen faucet for 7-10 days while waiting for replacement parts to come from Illinois? Local purchase of that one part is about $50, an exorbitant amount. I do not recommend Grohe!

My experience with other Grohe faucets is that they work smoothly and don't leak. This kitchen faucet also works smoothly. It was very easy to install. The only downside is that the maximum flow rate is not as high as previous faucets. This has not turned out to be a problem, however. Also, the "sprinkler mode" switch has to be held down, as opposed to being switched into and out of that mode.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor flow I love the appearance of the Grohe faucet and the easy movement from hot to cold water. However, the water flow is very low, and to date, with an internet search and related YouTube videos we have not been able to remedy this. We are very dissatisfied.
