Can you position the faucet so the valve faces forward?

We used one in a vacation rental and wet hands always left water all over the counter with side shut-off.
Asked by: ballistec
You could just mount the handle to the front instead of the side.

LadyLux Cafe Plus Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Stainless Steel is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from An Elegant Addition This beautifully designed faucet is a site to behold. It is engineered to be rugged and tough but look amazingly sweet and delicate. It was a breeze to install, although I had to go to another site to buy the matching stainless steel deck plate, as this design is only for a single hole sink. Also, had to buy supply line extensions for my install. One drawback is the over all supply pressure. This faucet is manufactured to meet California Water supply guidelines and they don't manufacture it for other states. However the hand spray provides plenty of pressure to wash off the sticky stuff, it just takes a little longer under the stream to fill the dog water dish. All in all for remodel or new construction this faucet is a wonder of design and engineering. It made this old Cast Iron Sink look awesome!!!

The small rubber switch that toggles between spray and stream will wear out in about four years. Grohe will NOT replace it. (They say they will, but they never actually send anything.) So you'll end up with a middling half spray-half stream unless you hold one of the buttons down with one hand. Pretty neat trick for $500, no?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, quality faucet The Grohe Lady Lux Kitchen Faucet is beautiful. The weight of the unit when using it is fantastic, and everything moves so smoothly, it has the feel of a genuine luxury product. Installation is easy. In fact, the hardest part is cleaning out the sink cabinet. The included “wrench” to tighten the faucet to the sink makes installation a breeze, and I put that tool in a baggie and twist tied it to my cold water line if I need to remove the faucet in the future, though considering the build quality, I don’t foresee needing it ever again. The spray button on top of the spout works well. I like that it returns to regular flow when the water is shut off, so it doesn’t come on in the spray mode when you turn the faucet on. The coolest feature of this faucet is unseen—the pull out spray head returns with a long spring instead of a weight hanging down beneath the sink. My experience with those weights is that they tend to get caught up on the plumbing beneath the sink from time to time, so the head of the faucet doesn’t return properly to its seated position. This isn’t a problem with the Grohe Lady Lux, and should be a standard feature on all faucets. It works extremely well, and after a month we have not had a single incident of the head not retracting properly. This is a fantastic faucet, and given Grohe’s reputation, should be a lifetime fixture. The operation is smooth, the sprayer works great, the on/off water temperature control is smooth and feels good in the hand, and the finish wipes clean. I am very pleased with this beautiful faucet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! Take Care in Installation! Grohe never disappoints! I love it that they have fixed the handle issue so that now it does not swing back toward the backsplash. Use a skilled person and pay close attention to the instructions ESPECIALLY when drilling your hole - NOTE that if you center the hole the fixture will be off-center. If drilling a standard size hole, the hole itself will actually need to be a little off-center - due to the way the rigid water line coming out of the bottom of the fixture is fixed off-center. Alternatively you can drill the hole out a little larger. We had to drill out a little larger to get the fixture on-center because my installer did not read the package insert. This directive is illustrated in a flyer that is included loose in the box, would appear that Grohe has had complaints about this. In the end, all is well!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Grohe warranty You would do a lot better buying another brand. Their program used to be good, now it's non-existent, if you can get through on the phone to deal with rude customer service reps. They said if the part is replacable, it's not covered.
