The rechargeable Batteries that I purchased are already failing to charge only after a months purchase, maybe because it's been cloudy lately so I'll give it another week before I cry foul.

My gamma sonic post lamp needed a new battery after about 2 years of use. Cleaned the lamp and put in this replacement and now the light is extremely dim with this battery. Very disappointed. Due to wiring attached to battery we had to use this battery as the replacement.

My store no longer carrys this product. Had to order online. The battery that was sent would have been outdated in a month.Took it back to the store and I was issued a credit. I asked that Home Depot get in touch with the supplier for a fresher battery. They said that they would. It has been about 6 weeks and I have heard nothing. I bought the lamp 3 or 4 years ago to save electricity. I wasn't told at the time that the batteries would only last a year and it would cost $25.00 to replace. But when it works, I can save about $4.00 per year!

These batteries are supposed to last about three years but I had to replace one (of three I bought) after less than 6 months because it had apparently lost storage capacity and the light would dim after only a few hours (vs. be bright all night for a good battery). The replacement battery that I bought was somewhat harder than expected to install because the original battery was glued in place. Once I overcame the installation hurdle, the new battery is working well.

This unit was installed as the second battery in a GS-97 lamp. It effectively doubled the battery capacity, giving more light for a longer time, even on cloudy days.
