Answer:
Every Garage Gator comes with a 1 ft long power cord connected to the motor unit. We recommend that you have a 110v outlet nearby (on your ceiling) or use an extension cord if and when necessary.

Electric Motorized Storage Lift System is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wife can gets bikes down with ease now! It took a little bit to layout the parts and review directions and videos, but everything installed fine and works great. I wish there were measurements/dimensions in the manual to show where you are supposed to measure 3" to the wall from (edge of motor plate, pulley bar, etc). Also note that the directions say there is a way to shorten this from 9' to 6' so you can get a little more room and beefier motor vs the 125lb Garage Gator. Luckily I was able to use the whole 9' with a little modification to the surroundings in my garage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product Awesome product to organize your garage. I used it to keep my bikes, golf bag, lawn chairs and folding tables off the walls. The instruction booklet wasn't very good, but there are plenty of online videos showing how to install the garage gator. I would have given it 5 stars but instructions and the fact that the cables aren't set up to have the attachment pole level (about 2 inches higher on far end) made me give it 4 stars. Still an awesome product that wows my neighbors.

I am handy with tools and projects and it took me about three hours to install. Partially because I have a very high ceiling in the garage. The weight of the motor and arms require careful work to locate the joist and studs to anchor everything well. All in all, I think it is a great device and very versatile to handle many storage needs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wow! This little lift is amazing This little lift is amazing. I use to lift my 100 pound kayak out of the way. It works really well and is simple to use. My only complaint is in assembly. The instructions were not very well written and need better diagrams. It is hard to install the motor by yourself. Which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. If you need additional garage space or a kayak lift, I highly recommend purchasing on of these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from garage gator good System works. New Toll bros. House with trusses that don't line up with 16 or 24 inch spacing. Have to add cats between trusses. A lot of extra work. Screw hole should be slots to allow for adjustment. I hang 2 kaka on the system. Great space solution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I used this for a Jeep hard top lift and it does exactly what I needed. It is pretty smooth up and down and holds firm. It feels well designed. Make sure to distribute the weight along the lower pole and try to get the weight near the lift connections.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solves the problem This is a great way to store the snow blower. holds it firmly and up and out of the way. I cane see where it would be great for lightweight bulky things like bikes or winter tires. Was a challenge to install, but I'm proud of it.
