I have bought 3 of these over the years--not because I love them so much, but because they stop working. The staples keep getting jammed. There is a tongue that lifts up, a staple is pushed underneath, and then the tongue presses the staple into the wood. After a little bit of usage, the tongue starts to go past the staple, rather than down onto it, and it jams. Despite those problems, I keep using these because they make stapling a fast, one-handed task, the staples are insulated. Also, the staples stay in the wood much better than the far bigger gauge regular staples that hammered in.

It comes with a lifetime guarantee, but I can't find the receipt, and for $35.00 I'm not going to worry about it. I just wish it was possible to load more staples into it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misfire Every time I shoot a staple out it is a surprise whether or not it will actually shoot a staple. Feeder never wants to stay locked in.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Stapler! Do NOT Buy! I bought this cable stapler at Home Depot, to use for stapling ethernet, phone, and video camera wires. I am a very strong "man's man", but this stapler takes 2 guerrillas and an elephant to press down. This is only for stapling data wires, so it should not be so hard to press down! I own other big staplers for insulation and such that take the T-50 metal staples, and they are no where near as hard as this thing. Oh, and the other thing, this GB stapler has so much stuff around the head, you can not staple anything in a straight line, it is impossible to line up. I dare you to staple 2 staples that are lined up. I am going to look for another brand of cable wire style stapler, that hopefully will work better than this GB stapler. Stay away, stay FAR away from this one!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Jams way too much to be useful I bought this staple gun in the hopes of making my 12-2 and 14-2 NM cable tack-downs that much easier. Unfortunately, after loading it up and getting started I found it positively loves to jam when actually up against wood, to the point that 3/4 attempts at tacking down a cable would result in my having to use a pair of needle-nose plyers to unjam it.
