Overall, the bar is study and well made. While it is relatively inexpensive, it does not look inexpensive nor does it feel like dainty aluminum. While it is sturdy, it is not heavy at all.
The installation could have been easier had instructions been included, but the lack of instructions was a blessing in disguise. Since I had no template or measuring instruction, I used the packaging it came in to help determine the proper distance for the wall anchors. With a yard stick and a level, the anchors were marked and it took longer to drive the screws than to install the anchor.
The anchors are very user-friendly and make the installation easy. They are made of nylon and drive into the wall easily. The wall mounts are angled so there is room to adjust to keep the tops level.

We have the solid chrome collection in our master bath. We love the double towel bars we purchased in 2001 because this particular design places the bars far enough apart for towels or wet washcloths to hang independently with room for air to circulate -- towels dry efficiently. Lots of double designs position the bars too close to one another which results in the second towel sliding off when pulling the first one off, and not enough space for towels to dry, etc.
These are also easy to install and easy to clean.
