Well made and color as described. Installation instructions were a little limited, but it's not a difficult install unless you have to cut rod to proper length (description doesn't mention adjustment for length). With proper install it is very sturdy and can hold a heavy shower curtain.
Overall a very nice curtain rod. The price is a little more than for others I have purchased of similar quality, but this rod won't be falling down.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MadMikee Sturdy and well made
I was tired of our old tension mounted shower rod slipping and moving, so I wanted to switch to a permenant mounted version. I was surprised to find that the only ones stocked in most stores are the curved version, which wouldn't work well in our small bathroom.
This one is well built and sturdy. The bronze finish looks nice and the brass rod should last a long time.
I was surprised to find that the rod comes in 2 pieces. But the way it goes together does not create the hump that catches the shower curtain rings.
Installation was a little difficult and it did not come with any instructions. Make sure you have a pipe cutter and measure carefully.

I was debating whether to go with a shower door or a curtain for the bathtub in my new bathroom. I was hesitant to use a curtain because I didn't think it would look as "high end" but I decided to go with the curtain for a few reasons.
This rod made the difference and the final result looks perfect.
I got the satin nickel finish and it matches the faucet hardware.
The rod is very well made and heavy and once installed you don't see the small seam of the two pieces since you can cut it so that seam is over toward the side where the curtain stays anyway.
Couple this with a very nice curtain and you will be happy.
Very nice product and the way to go if you are thinking about a curtain instead of doors.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Meister A bit higher priced, but very well worth it
I was looking for solid mount straight bar, which I found difficult to find in anything of any quality at all. This bar was a bit higher priced than say the curved bars, but well worth the extra price. Excellent quality, well designed except for not being a one-piece bar. No instructions, but I knew that in advance from reviews. Looks great in our bathroom. Good purchase with very fast and free delivery from Home Depot.

This rod is perfect for my bathroom. I didn't have room for a curved rod and didn't want a tension rod. This rod is sturdy and looks great in my bathroom. There were no installation instructions included (and you might not think you would need them) but they would have been handy to clarify a couple of things. Overall, I am very pleased with this rod.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sukibo Great product, but.......
This is a great shower rod, unfortunately, I am giving 3 stars due to NO instructions included with it. I was lucky my brother is handy and could figure out the installation. Item did have a lower price after I purchased and I was able to get a price adjustment.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BathRedo great bathroom product
There IS a seam in this product, as the rod comes in two main lengths you connect together. Our bathroom contractor and handyman said it was a strong product and looked great. Would purchase again. Just what we wanted.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by dap1016 Very nice
The only negative I can think of is that it's not a 1 piece solid bar. The description had me confused as it's listed as 72x42" or something like that. The bar is actually in 2 pieces, and you cut one of them to fit your needs. It works, and it looks nice as there is no jumpy seem as the 2 pieces fit together flush. It just wasn't what I was expecting and description either didn't mention that aspect or was vague. In the end I doubt the joint strength will be an issue.
