Answer:
My rod was installed in Sheetrock with the brackets and molly bolts that were included. I don't think you would want to try to glue this rod to the wall (tile) as it is pretty heavy. I want to say that the info on the rod says not to install in tile, but I'm not 100% sure where I read that.

Answer:
I had to shorten the rod to fit my space. My husband just used his copper pipe cutter and it took just a minute to cut it.

Answer:
Yes it will fit a smaller than 72" span. You'll just need a hacksaw to cut it to fit.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High Quality I was debating whether to go with a shower door or a curtain for the bathtub in my new bathroom. I was hesitant to use a curtain because I didn't think it would look as "high end" but I decided to go with the curtain for a few reasons. This rod made the difference and the final result looks perfect. I got the satin nickel finish and it matches the faucet hardware. The rod is very well made and heavy and once installed you don't see the small seam of the two pieces since you can cut it so that seam is over toward the side where the curtain stays anyway. Couple this with a very nice curtain and you will be happy. Very nice product and the way to go if you are thinking about a curtain instead of doors. July 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Product! High quality shower rod - nice and heavy. Only drawback - rod comes in two halves that are fitted together. It's difficult to tell that the rod is in two parts once it's installed, but I was surprised at this feature when I opened the box. April 14, 2007
