Other than just cages?

I'm looking for something to staple to a split rail fence to keep my cats in my small yard. This appears to be 1 inch squares, 2 feet tall, and 25 feet long. There is an existing, similar product already, it goes up about 4 feet or so, I figured this product here could be stapled to the bottom half and perhaps it would work. Any opinions on this? Is there another product that would be better?

Howdy fb, You could buy more netting in longer rolls and save money. Here is a link to a longer length that is more cost effective: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-in-x-4-ft-x-50-ft-Poultry-Netting-308431HD/204331892 Happy fencing, Coach Dave

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not always wlecomed, but absolutely necessary! This stuff is purchased yearly roll by roll. Saves my vegetation from Rabbits!!! Not that I want everything encased in wire, but it's absolutely necessary where I am! It is easy to work with and connects well if you make the right cuts. Also, DOES NOT rust!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from mutiple use I like to keep some in my garage for it's many uses from building a fence around my wife's garden to making small repairs in Stucco. I also used it around some young fruit trees I planted, Just make sure you dig a hole at list 2 feet deep and install the wire around the hole, set the trees into it this will keep all rodents from eating the young roots off the young trees.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good product, but short measure The label stated that there was 25 feet of wire. The actual measurement was 24 feet 2 inches, but even then some of the wire was unusable. At the core end, about one inch of wire was folded over and crumpled for a loss of two inches. At the outer end, it was slightly more than 6 inches folded over and totally crumpled for another loss of slightly more than a foot. I tried to unfold and straighten the damaged portions, but it turned out to be beyond salvaging. I had needed the full 25 feet to fill a 24-foot opening in my garden fence; with what I actually received for my money, I had to move one of the fence posts to get the job done. Although the wire is of good enough quality and appearance, the lack of an honest measure makes the product unsatisfactory. I doubt if most people measure the roll; they probably just go with what they receive. In this case, however, I needed every inch, and did not get it. By the way, a roll of wire I purchased later at the farmers' co-op was more than five feet longer than advertised. The 100-foot roll fully covered my 12-foot by 12-foot chicken coop in two sections, top and bottom, with plenty left to wrap around the posts and staple.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the Job Looks a lot better than chicken wire and keeps my dogs in while still short enough to step over. Good price.
