It looks like it will last for a while. Bubble flares are really much easier to do than the standard double flares and I learned that pretty much all cars use bubble flares now. I like the plastic case with this set--much easier to store the tool and see at a glance all the parts have been put back. The double flare tool I have owned for years only came in a pouch and it was hard to be sure all the dies were accounted for when putting tools away. I think if you use a bit of lube and watch a video or two of folks using this tool it will work well for even a beginner, but will be something you have years in the tool case.
