My older Generac has a pressure control adjuster on located perpendicular on the wand. Turn it one way and the pressure is like a soft spray, turn the other way and full high pressure. Does this have anything similar, and if so where and how does it work compared to my older one. If it does not have it, is an optional wand available for it?

Answer:
I believe this one is set up like the Troy Bilt I am replacing. It has a special tip for dispensing detergents. Once you have soaped up the area you are cleaning, you change tips to the one that's right for the pressure you need. Only a few residential washers have adjustable pressure, most on them you have to change the tips.

OK, I guess this is completely different than my old one. With mine the only way it would siphon cleaners or soap from a container was in "low" pressure adjustment, Than I use high pressure to wash and can go back to low pressure to rinse. I guess I'll have to look at one and see how it's set up for dispensing cleaners and such.

No. It's pretty much full blast all the time. However this can be handled in 2 ways, first, back off your distance between wand and surface being cleaned.
Second, use a wider spray nozzle or even purchase add on Nozzles as a variety of different tips are available. The super narrow tip will rip the paint off your deck, but I used it to clean cracks in concrete.
I didn't see them at HD but I am sure you

I didn't see them at HD but I am sure you could locate an add-on hose and/or valve to give you that feature if needed.

Like Gene, I do not have a pressure washer, but I do have a generator. And the generator and customer service are HORRIBLE. If you call customer service, it seems they are trained to not answer your questions, talk in circles and get you so frustrated that you hang up. So, I am torn, I really like this pressure washer because it has an on board detergent tank, but it is a generac.

Answer:
I never purchased a power washers from Generac but I did purchase a $3600.00 natural gas generator from them. I had nothing but problems with it. The customer service is terrible considering this is an American company. Customer service puts you on hold for 20-30 minutes and their parts warrentee is not that good either for the cost of the product. Just hope you do not get a lemon like I did.

Answer:
Yes, the pump hoses and gun trigger use normal generic universal quick connect attachments. I just bought and used the red colored 3300 psi max EZ clean attachment purchased from Home Depot. It worked like a champ!
(I was a bit pressed for time so I probably did not go as slow as I should have, hence some of the streaking.)

Answer:
Generac's 2800 PSI residential grade pressure washer does not feature a detergent shut-off switch. When not using detergent, we would recommend removing the detergent siphon hose from the detergent tank and flushing the system as described the unit's owner's manual. If you have any other product-related comments, questions, or concerns, please contact us directly at 888-GENERAC (436-3722).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good pressure washer I purchased this a couple of years ago and it works as advertised. I have had several different brands and they only lasted a season, I repair small engines as a hobby so I know how to store this equipment, if you follow the directions you will have no problems. This model starts on the first pull always.. It's not often you find something that works after 2 full seasons.. June 7, 2016
