CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Word to the wise. Straight forward installation. I learned from instructions that my "neutral bonded" portable generator (Westinghouse) calls for a Switched Neutral kit ($100) to be added to the transfer switch. Why isn't it built-in or pre-installed since it is a safety feature. Check your generator before buying your transfer switch. The transfer switch is incomplete without this kit if your generator is neutral bonded. October 2, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy install, great alternative to the monster whole house generator. Installed this for a client that did not want to a huge "whole house" generator. It was easy to install from the external plug to the internal wiring. The entire install took me about 3 hours. It is a great little addition that, with some research, can be installed by the average home owner. a couple of down sides are that you have to do some research to find out what types of breakers can work if you want to add circuits and it is a bit pricey. If you consider how much a typical sub-panel is, this unit is a little on the high side. September 24, 2013
