I purchased a 3100-PSI 2.8-GPM ONEWASH VARIABLE SPEED GAS PRESSURE WASHER on Jan. 31st, 2015. It was my first power washer by Generac and so far it has been working well for me.
I used it to clean a tile roof of about 800 ft2 in about six hours and it consumed around four gallons of gasoline (I did not check the water consumption). My tile roof was covered with moss that regrew in the past three years due to the conditions of Puget Sound in NW.
The pressure washer worked very effectively even for getting rid of the moss rooted in and came out of the seams of the tiles. I started slowly as I was careful not to damage the roof and not wanting to cause water leaks resulted from the back-flow. Once I got used to it, it went smoothly for the rest. In fact, it went so well that I decided to use it to strip the color painted on the surface of the tiles and planned to repaint it when the weather condition becomes suitable for doing it.
After that, I tested the pressure washer on both concrete and asphalt driveway as well as stained and paint deck using various settings and spray tips.
It was so easy in achieving the intended results and to control how much and in what extent in removing and stripping the stuff accumulated on the surfaces that I believed I have chosen the right product and paid for what it is worth. It came with a 30-ft hose that was long enough so I returned the additional 25-ft one I purchased.
The assembly was very easy. The reading part took longer the actual time of putting it together. But it was just me as I always read and understand as much as I can before I do something especially after I spent few hundreds of dollars on it. In fact I could have done it without reading the manual because there are not many parts and each is distinctively made so that one can easily figure out what they are and what to do with them.
It was shipped out from Chicago the next day after the ordering and arrived on schedule as Homedepot promised (although it was the last day in the period they promised). So far, if I have any suggestions, the delivering was the only concern I had and it was briefly.
I kept tracking it online since it left Illinois. It arrived at the warehouse just outside of Seattle two days later but it took another three days to come to my house in the city (no more than 10-15 miles away across from lake Washington). I guess the notorious Seattle traffic did live up to its reputation. I could have used it on the weekend had it been delivered the next day or two after it came to the warehouse.
Nonetheless, it was still within the time Homedepot promised.

After reading reviews, we made the purchase and especially liked that it was Made in USA.
First one had a broken hose connection.
Brought it back and within a reasonable time the second unit arrived.
After assembly the unit started with just a couple of pulls. Only problem was that it would not stop running when I used the "OFF" switch. After a few "ON/OFF" attempts I engaged the choke. It continued running for a while so I pulled off the spark plug cap.
Great customer support from Generac, but I'm not too excited about the product.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by John Broken in the box, twice
I ordered one that arrived January 6 2015 and after assembling it found a lose piece in the bottom of the box, Unfortunately, it was the inlet hose connection and the cast fitting had broken off. The box did look like it had been dropped so it was not a shock. Home Depot was great, ordering me another with a 10% discount and express shipping and I returned the unit to a store.
The second one arrived, amazingly, on January 8 2015. I pulled it out of the box, and, to my chagrin, lying in the bottom was the same broken inlet fitting. This time it was clear that the box was not damaged. Closer inspection revealed that whoever packs the items places a few items (handle, hose, etc) under the unit before setting the unit in the box. I am assuming that these items push against the cast fitting in transit.
Again, Home Depot was great, offering me yet more incentives. In fact, I probably would have ordered another but they are out of stock! I will try something else.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SouthernYank Almost a home run
Great system; good performance. Only negative is poor placement of muffler in proximity of hose to gun. Only took a second to melt through it when I had my back turned.
Recommend you buy 2 swivel fittings; 1 for HP hose connection at the pump and another for the connection at the gun. Haven't had to worry about kinks or coiling since.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HappyWasherer It's an excellent machine, works very well
I am very pleased with this pressure washer. I did a lot of research and reading reviews over a period of weeks. I have borrowed many different models from friends. Many reviews had complaints about parts broken in shipping. Well mine came 4 days before the estimated date, in perfect condition right out of the box. I read the instruction the night before assembly. Assemble is minimal, install handle and hoses. Add oil with the provided funnel, which is slick, and added gas. After hooking up the water, it stumbled on the first pull and fired on the second. My wife and I used it for about 3.5 hours today. Fantastic, so easy to use. We are very pleased with this unit.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Snickers Good pressure washer but not quite great.
I bought this unit due to the variable p.s.i. All in all this is a good pressure washer but not a great one. The good points are it's easy to use, easy to maneuver, variable p.s.i to better suit multiple jobs, starts easy, spray tips are easily changed, onboard soap tank, and the unit has plenty of power. The bad points all revolve around the hose. The hose is stiff and gets tangled in knots to easily. Also the holder to wrap the hose around is cheap and not very useful. These are the two reasons I did not give this pressure washer a 5 star rating.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hans57 Great performance and full of features.
I purchased the Generac One Wash because of the features and the rated performance. I like the ability to increase or decrease the power of the unit for my specific project. This allows me to match the power to the job and reduces any possibility of damage by using too much power. The unit is much quieter than a previous model I had owned and the rear connections make it easier to move around. The folding handle is also a convenient feature, making transport a lot easier. The design is quite aesthetic.
I would definitely recommend the Generac One wash pressure washer for the homeowner.
