Answer:
The 3300psi Power Washer has manual throttle control, which will change the pressure of the water from the nozzle. Use of the proper nozzle for the job will also provide a different pressure stream.

Answer:
The 33000psi Power Washer, model 5995, features a thermal relief valve. If you run the engine on your power washer for 3-5 minutes without pressing the trigger on the spray gun, circulating water in the pump can reach temperatures above 125°F. The thermal relief system engages to cool the pump by discharging the warm water onto the ground.

Answer:
Currently Generac does not manufacture a cover for the power washers. We recommend that you properly prepare the unit for storage, and keep it in a dry environment, such as a garage or shed, with the gasoline stored safely in an appropriate container.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Seems too new to purchase It seems to be a good machine but time will tell. Mine came with a broken plasic piece in the box and I still can't replace it. When you try to look up parts you find out this is not really made by generac, it only carries the name. This type of machine was sold off by Generac a couple of years ago to concentrate on generators. So to find parts seems to be impossible. There's nothing on the internet. June 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best pressure washer out there.!. Dollar for dollar the best period...Starts first pull...All top quality made & built. Giddy-Up, Beaver May 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well Rounded Powerwasher with ample power I purchased the washer in May and have used it 3 times. 1) stripping mildew and stains from a brick wall. 2) cleaning lawn furniture and 3) washing the deck (prep for staining). Pros: Easy to start (2nd pull). Well balanced PSI and Waterflow for quick cleaning. Not as loud as expected. Engine did not strain with continuous use at full power. Solid unit with good wheels and a long wand. Opportunities for Improvement: Consumes more fuel than anticipated. The pull cord is far too short. The outside cage is over sized for the unit and consumes excess storage space. Overall the unit met my expectations and appears robust and well rounded for heavy home use. May 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High quality machine I wanted to find a quality product with plenty of power and believe I found what I was looking for. It started right away but only after I made sure to release the pressure. If it doesn't start on the first pull make sure to press the trigger. When starting I used a large clip or clamp to hold the trigger closed which worked very well. I used it for about 4 hours the first day and about 2 hours a week later. I didn't experience any problems. I had read the note/review about the oil level and used enough to go half way up the oil stick. However that took most of the whole quart, so I'm not sure I would have had a problem if I used the entire quart. I would definately recommend a generac pressure washer. July 14, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stepped up into the Big League I purchased this unit to replace a home owners unit that was 2500 psi and 2.5gpm and WOW what a difference. The first thing I noticed is the wand seems so long compared to the homeowners units. The long wand will contribute to no more sore back from being hunched over to use the unit. The unit started on the first pull and ran like a champ. The ONLY thing that I do NOT like is the way the engine exhaust is routed, it tends to make the frame very warm on the corner of the unit and may distort the plastic garnish plate over time. I am pleased with the money that was spent and don't think that there will be any regrets, only time will tell. July 19, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Brand new machine will not start! I wish I could give this a great review, but i have yet to use it. After ordering it took 10 days for me to get it, that's not unreasonable, after all it was free shipping. My pressure washer has no spark, someone didn't do a very good job assembling it. I called customer service, they gave me the name of the nearest dealer, which is at least a 45 min drive. I called that dealer and they are no longer a dealer, but Generac doesn't even know that. I have jobs lined up to use this thing and, I can't use it. I am not satisfied! May 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HUGE improvement over homeowners version pressure washers This unit more than meets my needs! It starts easily and was surprised by how short the starter cord is... It started on the first pull when removed from the box when received(after preparation), was also surprised at how long the wand is, no more stooping or bending over (quite as far) to clean your project and getting a sore back. Also like how the handle folds down to minimize the size of the product. I like the thought of the benefit of having an external oil filter vs not having one at all, also has a fuel shut off and adjustable throttle lever. Be aware that this unit is a bit larger in physical size than the "normal" pressure washer - meaning that it feels/looks like a piece of industrial equipment and not a toy. This unit appears to be built to last. July 31, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great addition to my tool collection! I bought this primarily to power wash a wood fence to prepare for re-finishing, and to have it for other stuff. I'm totally glad that I bought this model, and recommend this unit if the specs sound like what you are looking for and price meets your budget. The pressure is excellent. There will be no problem with that. One of the selling points on this brand was that I'd read the generacs are easy to start. Well, this one doesn't necessarily start the first time. By experimenting with the choke/throttle combination I've found that if I ease back just bit from full choke with the throttle wide open I have the best chance of it starting on the first pull. If it doesn't start, make sure you release the water pressure by pulling the sprayer trigger. I recommend the Generac 3300 psi 3.2 GPM Gas Power Washer! September 18, 2012
