Will it plug into a 4 prong converter?

Asked by: Anonymous
The GP7000, model 5625, features two (2) 120 volt 20 amp duplex receptacles with the 5-20R configuration, and one (1) 240 volt 30 amp receptacle with the L14-30R configuration. The 5-20R configuration receptacles will utilize a three prong plug that will have one (1) hot prong, one (1) neutral prong, and one (1) ground prong. The L14-30R configuration receptacle will utilize a four prong plug that has two (2) hot prongs, one (1) neutral prong, and one (1) ground prong. The actual plug and cord utilized should meet the configuration of the receptacle utilized. For example, the plug required for the L14-30R receptacle would be an L14-30P plug, and should be rated at 30 amps for the distance of the cord.

does meter reset itself after oil change? please provide sku number so i can order same

Asked by: Anonymous
The Hourmeter tracks hours of operation for scheduled maintenance. There will be a “CHG OIL” message every 100 hours. The message will flash one hour before and one hour after each 100 hour interval, providing a two hour window to perform service. Every 200 hours the “SVC” icon on the lower left hand corner of the display will flash. This message will flash one hour before and one hour after each 200 hour interval providing a two hour window to perform service. When “CHG OIL” flashes, it indicates the oil change interval, while “SVC” indicates the air filter change interval. Maintenance parts information can be found in the Product Specifications section of your owner’s manual.

The "oil" on the hour meter indicates that it is time to change your break-in oil. This will display automatically at the first 30 hours and every 100 hours thereafter. This is a reminder to perform an oil change and filter change. For additional information on this, please see the maintenance section of your owner's manual.

GP 7,000-Watt Electric Start Portable Generator is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 378.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t depend on OGE anymore…. OGE is having major issues of late on our grid. Past Sunday the weather got to -4 …. windchill -15. My electric went off for over 5 hrs and I ended up replacing the pipes in the well house due to everything freezing up. I researched and decided to purchase this Generac 7500. Very glad I did. We’ve another major storm brewing this upcoming weekend and I wanted to be ready. I can’t depend on OGE anymore and having an alternative power back up gives me the feeling of control and power over my situation. Instead of being a victim of OGE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Generac Generator This generator is all that the advt. said about it. It arrived on time and truck driver even offered to take the cardboard packing back. It was simple to put together and the directions on the box were a big help too.I put it together wheels and handle, put the oil in and it started right up. The battery does not charge when it is running so a battery maintainer should at least be mentioned in the ads. I bought one soon after. Thanks PED good job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and easy setup, high expectations! Pre read the manual online the day prior to delivery which made the startup effortless. Assembly was a breeze and it srarted right up with ease. Ran it for about 30 minutes, loaded an air compressor, portable heater, and shop vac just to test. Then tested the whole house, 2 fridges, freezer, furnace, gas water heater, and numerous lights. Flawless performance. Expect to survive the eventual power outage this winter and next spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GP7500E Great Generator, we finally purchased this one and I sure am glad I did. We have several power outages a year and it powers all of our needs. We have well water and it is nice to be able to take a shower and have heat when the power is out. Would recommend this product or any Generac Generator to anybody. Both of my bosses have whole home ones and work great too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't ask for a better Generator I have two generators, one I bought at a department store and used it for work and at home. Now I own a Generac GP7500E Generator. No comparison to the one I bought first, The Generac is much quieter, battery start with pull cord backup, more outlets and 30 amps. What more can you ask for except a whole house generator and Generac even makes them too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has every thing I need in a portable generator I was able to get this generator on sale. So I was able to purchase a larger one than originally intending to buy. It has all the features I need in a portable generator. It was easy to assemble and it started right up after adding fuel. I have not had to use it yet for emergency power but it should be able to handle all of our basic needs.
